SMOKE - American BBQ, Steaks & Burgers — Restaurant in Brindisi

The place itself has a potential, as the food is decent. Unfortunately, the food did not stand out compared to the price, atmosphere and the service. We visited on the evening and we were 2 of total 6 guests of the restaurant. Even though we waited significant time for the food ordered.

I rated the service for 3 as I found the waiter to be too persuasive, he insisted on me having a drink few times although I refused to have anything at the very beginning. Additionally, the potatoes we ordered as part of our dish were brought few minutes after the meat, so we had to wait and in the meantime the meat got cold. Next thing is that after maybe 10 minutes from placing our order, we were informed that part of it is not available, it is a bit disappointing that the cook does not know up front what ingredients they have available in the kitchen for the day.

Edit: Back in brindisi, so we had to go here again. It's still so wonderful and yummy. Will go back before we leave. Highly recommended.

2021 I'm so glad I got my fiance to go here with me. I'm an American from Colorado but grew up mostly in Texas. Lived in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and El paso. I love the BBQ at this restaurant. We ordered the blue smoke, and it was beyond perfect. I was impressed. My fiance, who is Italian from venice, loved it too. I wanted him to try some American style BBQ before I bring him to the usa to visit because Italian food in the usa is horrible. So I want to make sure he can eat in the usa. We loved everything here. Ho sempre vissuto a Brindisi ma da molti anni vivo in un altra città e trascorro le ferie con la mia famiglia a Brindisi …scrivo questo perché in realtà è come se questa recensione fosse di un turista quale mi sono ritenuta. Trovo che 5 stelle siano poche per la qualità del cibo la preparazione del personale ,la cordialità , la simpatia e l’onestà. Con i bambini inoltre è sempre difficile perchè non sanno cosa scegliere , non sanno cosa mangiare e quando chiedi aiuto per quantità dei piatti spesso i camerieri tendono a essere superficiali invece qui ci hanno addirittura anticipato proponendo loro ai nostri bambini un piatto gustoso e praticamente fatto al momento …(ma il menu kids consiglio di leggerlo perché farà sorridere ogni genitore ) Ritornando alla qualità e originalità avremmo voluto assaggiare tutto il menu …i prezzi sono onesti e le quantità giuste … Erano in due da soli a fare tutto senza lasciare nulla al caso …insomma due macchine da guerra.
