We went to this restaurant with the expectations of tasting some home made Italian food.
The menu looked interesting. However, overall we were disappointed. We went for pasta (tagliatelle), which we found not hot enough. Mine was tagliatelle alla carbonara, which did not give me the feeling of carbonara - the egg within appeared scrambled. My wife’s pasta, which was again something prepared with tagliatelle, was however better. The red house wine was smooth. The list of dessert looked interesting, however there was no place left in our stomach, as we do not like wasting food and finished what we were served.
The ambience could have been better by making it more cosy and house like - from a tourist standpoint. It appears too mundane. However, it seemed to us that the locals, who already knew the owner, Franco, were enjoying the food in that atmosphere. We also didn’t like it that we had to specifically ask for the bread. I assume that bread is supposed to be there with the items we ordered.
Franco was warm and explained the food items to us. He also offered us oranchello at the end, which was good.
From a tourist point of view, sorry to say, but I do not...

Based on former feedback we thought this family owned restaurant would serve good Sardinian, home made meals. However, the dinner served was ready after 5 minutes as only heated in the microwave (yes, I heard the „bing“ when food was ready ;-) - no smell of cooking at any time. Only the very kind service, the good local wine and a pastry for free at the end were positive. We cannot recommend to eat here… sorry to say that :( I had to explicitly ask for side dishes included to be served. Also, the bill contained positions which we could...
Read moreIt wasn’t what we were expecting from looking at the other reviews for the style of dining but still a nice local experience. This would be a great place to take a family as it’s quite casual and welcoming. The venue has bright lighting, cafeteria style layout with nic nacs and advertising for drinks and food placements on the walls, cabinets and things.
The owner was very engaging, happy and a joy to talk too. We felt we had been up sold for a lot of things we didn’t actually want but were encouraged to try, but hey, this was our first experience of a restaurant in Sardinia and know what to look...
