Belvedere Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Castelmola

Terrible.. The only nice thing is the view but because it's there. They can't ruin that. However: The prosciutto pizza only had 2 slices of ham (not smoked) and only half of the pizza actually had ingredients in top of it. The pizza siciliana had one olive, wasn't sliced and was hard to cut because it was burnt. Also, it took them 40min to serve the food even though we were the only customers. To make it even worse, in the end they managed to charge 5 euros more than expected by adding a 1,5€ service cost per person and charging more for a large beer than the price that was on the menu. I spent over 100 euro, and this is the quality of food I got as below!

Sausage is not fully cooked. Raw. Steak thin like paper, hard like cardboard Bruschetta has no basil or olive oil, but onion. Bread is stale and hard like brick. Not able to chew! Lamb chop not fully cooked, plus unseasoned

I dont mind beef / Steak is rare or medium rare. But sausage and lamb not fully cooked can kill a person. It is very clear the chef of the restaurant has lack of food safety. This is the worst restaurant i have ever been in Italy, also the worst restaurant in my life! Thanks for the unique...

If you’re on an all-girls holiday, you MUST avoid this place!! While the food and view was great, the server was severely inappropriate and passed remarks of unwanted attention making myself and my friends uncomfortable and unsafe! The server would sit in the corner and observe us continuously head to toe while we were eating our meals, at points he would come close and stand at the side of the table and ask more inappropriate questions, being pushy and staring while it was clear we wanted to be left alone and eat our meals. It was pure harassment. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
