The atmosphere and service were good, apart from the waiters who originally tried to heard us into the restaurant whilst we were deciding, however the food and the value offered is sub par compared to other restaurants in the area. First, the prices were very expensive when compared to others, with my lasagna costing €14 and being very small. My lasagna was a bit cold and comprised of 12 layers of pasta and a small amount of meat and a minuscule amount of source, essentially a €14 block of pure carbs. Whilst it was still somewhat nice and was seasoned well I felt a shop bought lasagne would have left me feeling better and less bloated. Aswell as that my party also ordered a garlic and chilli pasta, this cost around €12-14 a bit pricy for garlic and past tbh, and the portion size was very small. Similar restaurants in the area offer a full on larger size of carbonara for the same price as this. However the pizza was very nice, and the dough was the best that we had on our trip. Also someone discovered tin foil piece in the lasagna, which was off putting, as the coldness and that made me think it was days old and warmed up. They also charge €3 for a small breakfast size of tropical juice - tasted like a bottle from a shop- especially bad value when for an extra euro a competing restaurant offered a larger glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Overall, nice view and place for drinks and snacks, but way too expensive when compared to others . Just because it’s the first restaurant seen by tourists, doesn’t make...
Read moreThe pasta was really good, but the service left a bitter taste in my mouth. I was welcomed by a very nice waitress. But then a waiter took over, and welcome I felt no more. I was seated at a table for two since I was alone, but the waiter DEMANDED me to change to another table so he could put two tables together for other customers. Not asked, because it sounded like an order. Everyone around was feeling bad for me. Detail: the table I took could also be put together with another table, so why did I have to change? Then, I asked for ice (because my coke was warm), and the waiter not even looked at me, he just said LATER. Well, later I had to ask again, because he was doing anything else (it was not busy at all) but bringing me ice. Then he brought me the ice with a grin. All this time, he barely looked at me. I was never treated this way by service personnel -- and I live in Vienna, which is probably the grumpiest...

We ordered pizzas and pistachio pasta. Unfortunately, the pizzas were among the worst we’ve ever had — soggy dough, bland toppings, and absolutely no flavor. The pistachio pasta came in a tiny portion, so small that even our children finished their plates in under three minutes, but the taste was good.
Sicily is world-famous for its incredible cuisine — full of flavor, care, and tradition. It’s truly disappointing to find a place like this, clearly relying on tourists, serving what feels like assembled industrial products instead of real cooking.
There are so many other restaurants nearby that put real effort and love into their food. This one, sadly, is not among them. A shame...
