Visited Boteco restaurant with family while spending our vacation in Catania. The food is amazing and everything including the seafood and pasta tasted very fresh. Loved the homemade wine! The place is very cosy and also the vibe is very nice to have a casual dinner date as well. The restaurant is managed by husband and wife who are very humble and sweet. Chef is very passionate about what he does. He went above and beyond by stepping out and explaining us what is best to taste in terms of authenticity and portions because we definitely wanted to taste authentic Sicilian cuisine including some seafood. Great value for the money you spend. Enjoyed the food and overall experience a lot. Very friendly customer service. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor...

We went there with my friend who knows the owners like a month ago. It's on a tiny " place" near some trees and there are cars parking but it's not busy, more calm and quiet. The restaurant is actually big inside but we sat outside on the patio ( protected from rain / sun) to enjoy the weather. It's a tiny walk from more " touristy" places but far more authentic.

I don't remember the names of the dishes but everything was very tasty, fresh& homemade. I had a tomato pasta dish that was delicious and huge. My husband had different small dishes ( like tapas), great as well. My friend had a clams pasta dish and it was very nice too.

I definitely recommend this restaurant as it's great value and we all enjoyed our lunch. The owners are also very warm, attentive and...

We found this restaurant to be quite overpriced compared to others we had dined at in Catania. My pasta which was supposed to be a traditional dish from that area had raisins in it as well as a few unidentifiable bits of food and didn't taste nice at all. I left most of it. They charged €15 for it, which compared to other restaurants who served nicer pasta dishes, was OTT. We did have a shared platter for starters which was really tasty. We got to sample some of the other dishes. But overall, the food was just ok but a little on the...
