Cibò Cefalù — Restaurant in Cefalù

Very disappointing, our worst dining experience in Cefalu and in fact Sicily. Pasta was ok but secondi were very poor. My small chunks of pork belly were cold, not very tasty and came with the slightest drizzle of orange chutney and a few salad leaves. Cibo offers only one white, red, rose wine by the glass, all from the same label. Both our white and red were very average at best, well below the standard set by restaurants with similar pretentions. The wine also came in small amounts but still set us back 8 euro per glass. Should be illegal in Sicily. Service was disorganizrd and poor, wine and water did not arrive on time and our bill was incorrect. NOT...

Very disappointed with the service from front of house at this restaurant. Had high expectations after reserving a table for 3 people earlier during the day and arrived on time for an 8pm reservation only to be turned away and told they were “fully booked”. The waiter was very rude and disrespectful towards us, telling us to sit at a table set for 2 people when we were clearly a party of 3. This restaurant is beautiful! We arrived in Cefalu today after an early start from the UK. This was our first experience of Sicilian hospitality and it didn’t disappoint. From the first class service to the excellent food produced by an experienced chef with an impressive background cooking at the highest standards. This place has it all - It was exceptional value for the quality we had. My only regret is that we only have one more night in Cefalu and they’re closed tomorrow! Keep up the good...
