A Paranza Cefalù — Restaurant in Cefalù

This place is a hidden gem in Cefalu! It was a shock to witness the combination of flavors in every dish. The most remarkable pizza experience I have ever had.

We ordered an octopus salad Wich had freshness in every bite.

When we ordered the gourmet seafood pizza, being the chef Vito's choice, we were sceptical. We were sceptical because we had never experienced a sea food pizza and the waiter had recommended the Don Vito gourmet pizza and we're torn between two other choices as well. When the chef's choice pizza came out we were astounded by the look of the dish, being served on a slab of rock we witnessed a motzarella burratta in the middle of the dish surrounded by slices of pizza. The burratta was resting on basil leaves and what we think was marinated caramelized onions. The slices of pizza had stracciatella cheese topped with fresh gamberretti and a drizzle of honey. The garnish consisted of a mix of pistachio powder and dried flowers one of the flowers I think was camomile, I couldn't identify the other.

The most noticeable thing I can't stop remembering is how the flavors on the gourmet pizza dish were so in tuned with one another. Each slice of pizza had creamy sweetness to them. And by saving some crusts as we are we would dive into the burratta caramelized onions and Brazil with the saved crusts and scarpette(scoop) up the pistachios and dried flowers in one swoop. This provided freshness from the cold burratta and the subtle sweetness of the onion reminded the us the creamy sweetness of the pizza slices.

Vito truly is a savant pizzaiolo who deeply understands flavor combinations.

On our way our we saw the Don Vito gourmet pizza being served and it was just as astounding as the pizza we had just devoured.

Family run restaurant that uses quality ingredients.

I really recommend this spot for a unique gourmet...

Wir sind eine Woche in Cefalu gewesen und haben 4-Mal zu Abend beim MANin Pasta gegessen. Das Essen war einfach Lecker und die Preise sind in Ordnung. Schönes Lokal und nette Bedienung. Wir haben hauptsächlich Pizza und Pasta gegessen. Beim MANin Pasta sind nicht nur touristische Kunden wie woanders in Cefalu, sondern auch einheimische. Nach dem Essen haben wir Limoncello bekommen! Einfaches und saubares Lokal, gutes Essen und nette Bedienung!

We stayed a week in Cefalu and were 4 Evenings at Man in Pasta. Very good Food for a good Price. The restaurant is very nice and the waitress were friendly. Most of the time we had Pizza and Pasta. At MANin Pasta you will also meet italians, not only tourists, like somewhere else in Cefalu. After dinner Limoncello on the House! Nice place, very good food, friendly people!

Estuvimos una semana en Cefalu y cenamos 4 veces en MANin Pasta. Muy buena comida a buen precio. El local lo descubrimos el primer día y nos gustó bastante. El restaurante en sí es muy bonito y el servicio es muy bueno. Mayormente comimos Pizza y Pasta. Es un lugar donde no sólo verás turistas como en muchos otros restauranes en Cefalu. Van también italianos. Luego de la cena recibimos varias veces un Limoncello a cortesía de la casa. Es un lugar simple, bonito, limpio con buena comida y buenas...

Tonight with my friend we decided to have two sandwiches here for dinner around 7pm. The waitress was really rude and ignorant with us and it took her 20 minutes to take our orders (because she was very busy watching the sport game in the TV). After waiting for 40 minutes for TWO SANDWICHES (caprese and strapazzato) I opened mine and realised that it didn’t have any mozzarella cheese inside, after a few minutes the waitress paid some attention at me so I could ask her if I know well that the Caprese panino should contain the mozzarella cheese, after taking the menu to read the ingredients of the panino she said yes I am right and took it back. After 5 more minutes it arrived back and when I took my bites into the panino I felt there are anchovies cream inside WHICH DOESN’T BELONG THERE, so I immediately stopped eating, when I told this to the waitress her reaction was literally nothing and she was ignorant and rude again with us and she made us pay for this terrible panino WHICH WAS NOT THE CORRECT WAY and the service fee when there was no service with the rudeness and inappropriate behaviour of the waitress! I am really sad that I spent almost 1.5hours there to ‘eat’...
