Edogawa — Restaurant in Cefalù

If I can give zero or minus points, I will definitely put it here. Worst experience ever! We are Chinese and our kids miss Chinese cuisine after eating pizza and pasta for 2 weeks in Sicily. Therefore this review is not biased because of different races or cultures. We have spent around 80 € for 2 adults and 2 kids which is not cheap at all, and what we got in the end are food poisoning. I had upset stomach and have thrown up on the way while we were walking back to hotel. My kids all got serious skin allergies the next day. We have been to many restaurants in Sicily and didn’t have such terrible experience. Attention: stay out of this restaurant if you don’t want food poison ruining your entire holiday and give your kids itching and sleepless nights. Wow, fantastic food and great service. Nice taste of Asian cuisine in Sicily.

Looking for something a little different, my son and I decided to try Edogawa. What a treat. I do not have the menu in front of me so I will not use the exact dish name, but the ingredients remain the same. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls, the soup with vegetables and the rice noodles with vegetables. Vegetarian here. All of the dishes were very fresh, quite tasty and presented well.

My son ordered a salmon sushi, rice with chicken and vegetables and a plate of teriyaki chicken. The food again, was amazing.

Sono andato ieri 28/6/2020 e devo dire che è stato orribile, i problemi sono stati questi. -esempio, abbiamo ordinato 100 piatti e ne sono arrivati solo 30. -l'olio con cui friggono è di palma e lo so perché fuori c'era un bidone buttato nella spazzatura -le cose fritte fanno venire il voltastomaco,mi sa che l'olio delle friggitrici non lo cambiano dall'apertura! -lo "chef" lo abbiamo visto fuori che fumava una sigaretta tutto sudato senza guanti nè mascherina con delle scarpe imbrattate che nemmeno mio nonno in campagna le ha così, e dopo lo abbiamo visto uscire dalla cucina sempre senza mascherina e guanti. -il pesce non aveva alcun sapore -una volta riempita la ciotola di salsa di soia abbiamo notato che all'interno c'erano dei moscerini -la pulizia non è il loro forte dato che tutti i tavoli sono già apparecchiati compreso il piatto dove dovrai metterci la roba ed era tutto impolverato -l'acqua costa 2 euro per 75cl e dato che è tutto salato ne prenderete molta -per curiosità ho preso i gamberetti cucinati e merluzzo alla piastra, risultato? (Nessun sapore di pesce) Esperienza orribile lo sconsiglio a tutti.

P.s sono stato a milano a mangiare sushi ed era buonissimo quindi non pensate che sia io il problema e che magari pensiate "questo non lo ha mai mangiato e dice così" Ah e non capisco coloro che mettono 5 stelle, mi sa che siete andati solo in questo ristorante nella vostra vita.

Un ultima cosa il cameriere aveva si la mascherina ma non aveva i guanti e una mia amica gli ha chiesto come si utilizzano le bacchette e lui invece di prenderne una del ristorante ha preso quelle della mia amica e le ha mostrato come si impugnano e subito dopo le ha ridate a lei.
