La Pergola Ristorante Pizzeria Caffetteria Drincheria — Restaurant in Cefalù

The restaurant exterior is lovely and inviting, which made the experience that followed all the more disappointing. I was not greeted on arrival, and the wait for someone to come to our table felt awkward and unwelcoming.

To be fair, the bruschetta and caprese salad were genuinely good – fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. However, when I asked for some extra bread (twice), I was completely ignored. Not even a “we’ll bring it soon” – just blank stares and silence.

The worst part? The tiramisu. Do not order it.!! It clearly wasn’t freshly prepared – it arrived still frozen in the middle! To make it even more bizarre, it was served as a perfect triangle with eerily even layers… more like something cut from a frozen mold than an actual dessert made in-house. I mentioned this to the waitress, but she decided she didn’t understand English and ignored me completely.

Overall, I’d recommend skipping this place. The food isn’t worth the cold service and strange attitude. There are plenty of better, warmer, and more attentive...

We went to this place to get a quick coffee and head out. After we have ordered six coffees out of which we got three coffees that were served to the table we have occupied outside I went in again and asked for the next three coffees. Allegedly, the lady behind the counter forgot them which can happen and is not a problem at all. What is a problem is that I have ordered those three missing coffees and paid for it. Literally 10 seconds after paying the lady already forgot that I have just paid her and refused to make those three coffees telling me that I haven't paid. After arguing she still insisted that I was lying. Even a local woman said that his is outrageous. This place is the worst of all Italian cafes I have ever been to.

As you can already see in the reviews, the owner cannot deal with critique so it is best to stay away from this...

Unfortunately we didn’t get to try their food. My boyfriend & I were sat at a table by a friendly waitress then another one came to us a few times asking us what we wanted to order we explained we needed a few minutes, not even a minute later she came back again asking us to place our food order and we gave her the same response: we need a few minutes, quickly she came back again asking for our order and the other waitress also came letting her know we’ve already been served but she got told by the other waitress in Italian (language that I do speak) that they needed us order the food NOW and leave quickly as they wanted the table free so we said don’t worry, we...
