Terrazza Ondina — Restaurant in Finale Ligure

The view is very nice. We came on the big terrace and we were told immediately that we ca not sit at the railing because these tables are reservated for the Lunch guests. The terrace was empty until one table. IIt was half past two in the afternoon and i asked: what ? Lunch at this time? And asked to be seated at place with a good view onto the sea. From here it started to get really bad: ( our waiter) who was not only kind of scruffy but also very outrageous by slamming our cutlery on the table and not even wishing "buon appetito " or asking how it was, when he cleared the table. Additionally he mumbled always something in italian dialect by passing us by. Even the place is really nice and the food was ok, we felt very uncomfortable due to his absolutely inappropriate behaviour.And we wont go there another time. His boss should overthink to throw him out before he scares away...

Da precisare subito che le 5 stelle vanno solo ed esclusivamente al lido, e alla gentilezza del personale del lido... MA PER IL RISTORANTE NEL LIDO NO!!!! Sono state delle cafone assurde... Inizio col dire che mio marito e mio cugino sono andati a fare l'aperitivo in costume, verso le 11,30/12. E fin lì tutto bene. Siamo invece andati a mangiare verso l'13,30 tutti insieme con i Bambini, ci hanno fatto accomodare e ordinare ( sempre chi in costume chi in maglietta). Io cugino aveva solo il costume in questo caso a petto nudo e la figlia di 16 anni idem.

Fatto sta che dopo averci fatto ordinare arriva la cameriera e dice a mio cugino:

Questo è un ristorante bisogna mettere la maglietta, alché lui risponde

Ok ma prima ero a petto nudo e non mi e stato detto niente, quindi non pensavo ci fossero problemi, cmq ora vado a metterla.

La ragazza se ne va e neanche il tempo di alzarsi arriva la proprietaria (cafonissima) Dice in modo poco appropriato:

Questo è un ristorante bisogna mettere la maglietta, deve mettere la maglietta.

Mio cugino in silenzio, si alza e va a prendere la maglietta.

(Potevano dirlo subito prima di farci accomodare)

Ora il problema non sta nel fatto che bisogna mettere gli indumenti in un ristorante anche se tutto sembra tranne che un ristorante.

Ma nel modo in cui ci si rivolge al cliente!!!

Poi detto da loro che la cameriera era in minigonna di jeans e la proprietaria in tuta e canottiera 😂😂😂😂

Insinuava che lei ha il ristorante da 8 anni e sa meglio di tutti come si lavora. Bhe noi abbiamo un ristorante da 40 anni a milano e lavoriamo in divisa con tanto di camicia.... E in un bar che lei chiama "ristorante" al mare a noi non da fastidio se ci servono in minigonna o tuta o altro, ma si porta rispetto a chi ti viene a dare il pane...

One of the best places in Finale Ligure in my opinion! We booked the place 2-3 hours before, and we were so lucky that the kind manager booked us a table on balcony with the beautiful sea view! The staff are so friendly and the Manager (Gianluca) with a big smile is a really nice Gentleman ! They have variety of pizzas, seafoods and the quality is good , the prices are quite reasonable! They have also a menu of wines which you can pair with the food! We ordered pizza which was really delicious! I highly recommended this place if you need to have a good meal with...
