My husband and I ordered the pistachio and chocolate hazelnut and it was a 10/10. So far the best Gelato I have tried compared to Venice and Burano Italy. Only negative is that I asked if I could try 3 samples and I donāt think she heard me and may have heard me say if I can try samples. When I asked for the 3rd and final one, the employee said that is your last one. I felt like that was a bit rude as if I was free loading. I only wanted 3 to be sure. For context, there were no other customers. I did thank her for the samples at the end and told her that the gelato I previously purchased did not allow for samples and therefore I had gelato at some places I did not like at all and wasted money. For context I pay $6 Canadian each time. It adds up when it just goes to waste.
I understand if I was holding up a line or trying more than 3 but to make that comment after 3 was rude. For that reason, Iām not sure if I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis shop is the real deal and has some amazing flavors and each one is real and incredible! And after sitting in the shop for a little bit and watching people come and go, my 7-year old daughter and I then did Aldo's gelato making class together and we LOVED it. Aldo was fantastic and involved my daughter and let her use some of his kitchen tools and we took a lot of pictures and we had such a fun time. We also got to see with our own eyes that Aldo uses only REAL ingredients for each of his flavors. We couldn't believe the amount of care and dedication he puts into his work and his perfection of the flavors he serves in his store. By far and above all other gelato shops, this is our favorite spot in Florence. Locals know this place is the best, and we will be returning multiple times during the rest of our trip and during future trips as well!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is, without a doubt, the best gelato you will have in Florence. Regardless of where you're staying, you should go out of your way to try it. All the flavors I tried are delicious but the nocciola (hazelnut) is leagues above anything I've ever had before in my life (and I've eaten a LOT of gelato). This is because the gelato at B. Ice is much creamier than what you will find elsewhere. I loved this place so much that I went 8 times in the 6 days that I was there.
If all that didn't convince you, for just 2 euros you can get a very solid amount of gelato. For 3, you get quite a bit. Where I'm from in Canada, the 3 euro size would cost more than $10. Please do yourself and your family a favor and try...
