Dined here last week on the Friday for what was our best night in Florence. We experienced wonderful service, delicious vegan food, and a lovely atmosphere with a beautifully decorated interior. We recommend the vegan pasta dishes the most - absolutely delicious and homemade cosy pasta that warms your soul, the most authentic Italian food. For vegans, this is absolutely the best place to dine in Florence - underrated and masterful!

We would also like to make a personal thank you ever so much to the waiters and everybody working at Nirvana, all of whom were so kind, wholesome, joyful, accomodating and welcoming, with bright smiles and great warmth. You are all amazing. Me and my brother loved the big Krishna painting inside too!

We also noticed how the restaurant gives back to the local community, and shows great compassion toward it. Their compassion shows and extends from their love toward animals to their love toward people. It is such a rare pleasure to meet the people serving and working at this restaurant, and it is oh-so special. Kindness and compassion is the future, Nirvana Veg Restaurant is the future.

If you want proof of what phenomenal cuisine vegan food can offer, then this is the place to go in Italy. Keep Calm...

E' sempre un piacere ritornare al Ristorante Nirvana VEGano e VEGetariano in località Firenze, Via il Prato 4/b (Zona Porta al prato). Ogni volta, ottima accoglienza, sempre con il sorriso in ogni esigenza. Piatti gustosi e presentati in maniera impeccabile. Se siete in giro per Firenze, Vi consiglio di andarci; è gestito da personale preparato e gentile che cucina da oltre 40 anni (fattiva esperienza). E siccome la vita ci dà poche soddisfazioni mangiare da loro è una soddisfazione sublime. Prima dell'ingresso due belle piante Magnolie e in mezzo tavolini al fresco. Si entra e subito si sente una atmosfera molto intima e rilassante. Locale pulitissimo. Poi il personale ha la capacità di mettere in tavola piatti gustosi non le solite cose banali, tutto ottimo. Dalla carbonara vegana (sublime), seitan fatto dalla casa, tenero e squisito, insalata fresca e saporita, polpettine che sono un amore. Non rimarrete delusi. Situato a pochi passi dal centro. Che dire di più, per me ogni volta è una emozione anche di gola, perchè le porzioni, qualsiasi cosa chiederete non sono degli assaggi ma veramente ottime porzioni. E nell'eventualità che troviate qualsiasi cosa che a voi non và, fateglielo presente perchè loro umilmente sono contenti di migliorarsi sempre di più per loro, per voi e tutta la loro affezionata clientela. If you are around Florence, I recommend going there; it is run by knowledgeable and friendly staff who have been cooking for over 40 years (factual experience). And since life gives us little satisfaction eating at their place is sublimely satisfying. Before the entrance two beautiful Magnolia plants and in between cool tables. You enter and immediately feel a very intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Very clean premises. Then the staff has the ability to put tasty dishes on the table not the usual trivial things, all excellent. From the vegan carbonara (sublime), seitan made by the house, tender and delicious, fresh and tasty salad, meatballs that are a love. You will not be disappointed. Located within walking distance of downtown. What more can I say, for me every time it is a thrill even of gluttony, because the portions, whatever you ask for are not samples but really good portions. If you go here get the carbonara with truffle!!! When we went it was €12 which is an amazing price for the amount of food you get! Me and my fiancé actually ordered 2 lots of carbonara as it was that good. And went back the next day to get the tagliatelle with truffle sauce. If you're a dessert person like me then I don't recommend the desserts here... They lacked flavor, the tiramisu just tastes like cream and soggy cake, chocolate and pear cake was bland and the same goes for the apple pie... Was also a little disappointed with the wait time, we were one of the first people in and got our mains and dessert pretty quickly but after that we tried to get the waiters attention as we wanted more carbonara and no one came to us...
