I was staying in nearby apartment so on one fine morning, went here to purchase fresh croissant. Well, the experience was a mixed bag. There was lot of fresh patisserie. When I was inquiring about it, the staff who attended me ( woman) was subtly rude and openly indifferent - possibly a customer from another race in very morning irked her! But a middle aged man behind the counter helped me and smiled. The croissant was excellent. Also a unique thing about this place: We observed that in morning this place is filled with all good people. But by late eve, there were many people around and inside of this establishment that would make one feel unsafe. ( probably thanks to bar next to it) We could observe this as we were staying very nearby this place. So take care if you are stepping...

BUT this happend to us... The lady who helped us was so unfriendly and grumpy. Read moreWe went to buy bus tickets to get to San Gimignano because on the website it says that tobacco shops sell them. The cashier person was so rude to us. She shut us up before we even finished our sentence and she said while waving her hands in an unpleasant way "no, no, sold out." We got some drinks and coffee as well, but she didnt thank us or greet us. She literally just seemed like she couldnt wait for us to leave the place already. Really rude to tourists, will not be returning...
