Del tutto ignara nonché incurante delle considerazioni altrui, che neppure leggerò, condivido volentieri la mia esperienza ritenendo che ogni approccio al cibo sia personale e significativo.

Da nativa campana sento di dovermi complimentare con chi cucina in ( e per) questo locale se non altro per come ho sempre mangiato male a Firenze quelli che sono i miei piatti preferiti, ritrovandomi costretta ad avvicinarmi alla cucina e ai lievitati proprio per necessità in quanto rimpiangevo e sempre rimpiango casa mia, la mia regione colosso mondiale della cucina sopraffina per prodotti di Terra, di Mare e manifattura/ panificazione e preparazione di lieviti e paste morbide. Da premettere che la Cucina è identità, condivisione convivialità e la Campania, com' è noto, nel mondo detiene una posizione considerevole, addirittura inarrivabile checché la globalizzazione imperversi per mistificare mediante concorrenze leali e opportunismo.

Ma sorvoliamo... La pizza in questo locale è come deve essere una pizza e mi ha veramente stupito per somiglianza alla verace napoletana. Tanto è vero che mentre l'avevo ancora nel piatto, ho telefonato al ristorante per fare i complimenti. Lo spicchio di pizza deve crollare con la punta verso il basso e così è stato! Mi è parso, seppure parzialmente, di ritrovarmi a casa mia, coi sapori e le consistenze giuste.

Diciamo la verità: da Roma in sù, tra precotture e lieviti industriali, i rivenditori si limitano a condire dischi di cartone, e giocano con le parole pizza e associati. Tutti gli impasti hanno un gusto senza gusto, vorrei proprio dire che sembrano fatti in provetta. E questo è talmente vero che oramai non chiedevo più pizze e calzoni a domicilio se non in circostanze di eccezionale pigrizia Ancora di più apprezzo una degustazione come questa, sia perché inaspettato come tipo di feedback, sia perché dobbiamo riconoscere quando il prezzo vale la candela e troviamo qualcosa che quei soldini li vale tutti...la gratitudine prima di tutto, il riconoscimento della qualità, onorare le persone e il loro operato manuale e intellettuale: anche questi valori ci insegnano in Campania: a distinguere la lana dalla seta e a ricompensare la fatica. Ma c'è ancora posto per il dolce? E che dolce! Il babà con la crema pasticciera che ho gustato stasera è un'esperienza da fare e rifare. Il racconto non può bastare... Gradevolissima la bagna, zuccherosa ma non stucchevole, che accompagna alla perfezione la pasta brioche di questa delizia spugnosa. La bagna regna sovrana, non eccessivamente alcolica. Il proverbiale dolce partenopeo, che ho trovato equilibrato nei sapori, sembra addirittura preparato nella sua vera e unica patria/culla. Nappato da una ottima striscia di crema pasticciera che lo siddivideva in due sezioni. Porgo i miei complimenti a chi lo ha preparato con sapienza e rispettando la tradizione.

OMG 😲 these baristas put Starbucks to shame. I swear they're turning out a cappuccino every minute. Granted, they're not making any fru- fru drinks bcuz in the morning, the attitude in Italy is to "get me coffee and let me go." The majority of customers stand at the counter, drink their shot of coffee, and are gone in 2 or 3 gulps.

We, being American, got our cappuccino and chocolate croissant, say at a table, and savored the rich flavor of a delicious cup of coffee. I prefer an 8 - 12 Oz cup that I can enjoy for a half hour of sipping, but that's apparently not allowed in Italy. If it is, I haven't found it or seen it in any of the dozen or so cafés I've visited in the last 5 days. But I'm still looking. Even the luxurious VRBO that we're staying in only offers a Nexpresso machine that makes a cup with 2 swallows of coffee. Yes, it's delicious, but I started making a double dose to at least get a half cup of coffee in...

I love this place. It's got a cafe next door/attatched. When I tell you the decor is no frills I'm talking like cafeteria with florescent lights and the whole nine yards. The staff hasn't been great with English but we always got there together. I, after all, am a visitor in their country so that's a me problem.

I've been here for every meal over my visits to Florence. The pastries are fantastic. I'm particularly partial to the pistachio croissant.

Lunch- the pizza and the pastas are great, go for the seafood pasta or see if they have the boar ragu on the menu

I've even had their bistecca fiorentino. As good as any of those tourist traps, if not better and the quality of the meat is second to none.

You're paying for high quality food here not the decorations and rent.

Oh it's also big so it would be good to bring kids that need a little space to...

I ordered a seafood pasta and a salad - the seasoning and sauce of pasta tasted great , unfortunately the pasta was undercooked- could have boiled it for a couple more minutes (I wasn’t sure if that’s how Italian locals like it? Perhaps they like the center still a bit hard like how some people like their steak red in the middle ? ) Also, the salad I ordered never came, so after I finished my medium rare pasta I asked to get a tiramisu instead- it had really thick balls of cream and very thin everything else , again, maybe that’s how locals like it? I prefer the Costco version though The server was a very nice lady, who even gave me a take home bag with two pieces of pastries in there, which were pretty good and made up for some of the experience I had

I'm not an egg fan and the sandwich I had I think was brushed with egg and had a very strong egg taste and I think there was Mayo inside that was on the sweeter side that just didn't sit well for me. However, the veggies inside the sandwich were well seasoned, had fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and mozzarella. It was a good size for lunch. The freshly squeezed orange juice was DELICIOUS! Oranges were perfect and the cups were filled close to the brim. I ended up getting a tiny tart that was dusted with powdered sugar and topped with fruit with whipped type cream underneath. Did not taste eggy at all and was the perfect amount of sweetness.

El segundo día cogí este otro dulce , scendi leto se llama , es un hojaldre dulce relleno de crema pastelera , así de simple . He buscado el nombre y no aparece por ninguna parte. Estaba buena la crema. El tercer día me la jugué con el croissant vegano de carbón , un invento de croissant que no lleva mantequilla , el color negro es a base de carbón activado , dicen que es mas sano y que depura. Demasiada palabrería para vender un producto. Lo esperaba peor pero se deja comer, un poco insípido. Me quedo con los normales Y el ultimo día escogí un lazo de crema y mermelada de melocotón , masa crujiente , rica mermelada y crema. En resumen es un buen sitio para desayunar , la bollería esta bien.
