Don't be afraid of places that don't look fancy or fashionable. Paradoxically, it's often in exactly these kinds of spots that you end up having the best croissant or the best cappuccino of your life. This bar doesn’t look particularly special at first glance, but it’s located in a cozy spot — and their pistachio cream croissants are absolutely divine. For breakfast, a cappuccino and one of those croissants will stay in my memory for a long time. I haven’t had such a delicious start to the day in ages. However, you’ll need to be a bit patient here, because the service is very much in the classic Italian style: no one’s in a rush, and everything takes the...

I wish I lived near here so I could visit every day...the cappuccinos and pastries are just incredible and so affordable. The first day we even thought the wonderful gentleman running the front must have undercharged us! When we came back the next day, he recognized us and remembered our orders, which was so sweet. They have a great variety of pastries and, though we were only able to visit for breakfast, I think it must be a great place to get a sandwich and a spritz in the afternoon. Small interior but several tables outside, and in a quiet, non-touristy area. I love this little cafe and can't wait to visit again the next time I am...

This was a surreal experience for us. We sat to have a coffee, everywhere around us everybody seemed to be enjoying their morning and everyone was in a good mood, and then suddenly a man showed up asking the woman of the bar to sit somewhere and as all the tables were taken, she glimpsed around quickly and then just casually said to us can I ask you to leave the table so that this man can eat? It was insane, she literally kicked us out without an apology or even trying to find somewhere else to put us. Obviously we’re not going back there, but the problem is more, how do things like this even happen? Something to...

This was by far the best place we ate lunch in our Florence visit. A local bistro (no English menu, that's how you know it is local), super fast and kind service, fresh and tasty food, local ambiance (locals comes to eat lunch there, so you can see what they order and copy :) ..and prices were really fair trade..the best way to know a city is by it's local places...don't miss it if you are around!!!
