A magical, one-of-a-kind experience you can only have in Florence!
The Wine Window (Buchetta del Vino) is not just a cool photo opportunity — it’s a beautiful, historic, and fun way to enjoy a glass of wine in the heart of the city.
I stumbled upon this little gem while wandering the streets of Florence, and I’m so glad I stopped. There’s something magical about being served wine through a centuries-old wooden window in a stone wall. It’s like stepping back in time, yet it feels so alive and trendy at the same time.
I ordered a glass of local red wine, and not only was it delicious and smooth, but the whole ritual of the small door opening and the glass being passed through was just unforgettable. It made me smile like a kid! I also tried a white one later — crisp, refreshing, and perfect for a warm afternoon in Tuscany.
The staff were super friendly, and even with a small line forming, they kept things moving with a warm attitude and a smile. You can really feel the vibe — both local tradition and tourist delight blending together in the best way.
I took a few great photos that perfectly captured the charm of the moment — definitely Instagram-worthy, but more importantly, memory-worthy.
Whether you’re a wine lover, a history nerd, or just someone looking for a truly unique Florence moment, this is an absolute must-do. Grab a glass, enjoy the ambiance, and take a moment to soak in how special this city is.
I’ll definitely be back – and next time, I’m...

He kindly took a photo of us and even printed it as a souvenir, which was a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed two glasses of red wine for a total of €16. Overall, it was a memorable and delightful...
