The academy of fine arts could also be called the Michael Angelo museum because most of the art in there he made . We purchased the tickets from home and good thing we did ,the line to get in was around the block . When we arrived at the gate to validate our tickets there was a lot of commotion and some yelling and screaming . The people in front of us purchased tickets but didn't have proper identification to be accepted entrance . It appeared they purchased tickets for youth and their identification didn't support that. When we made it to ticket counter she asked the ages of our kids and I provided her with school id and passports . We were granted immediate access and it was well worth it ! You have to be in line for a long time and give you no explanation.
