Not your normal ice cream parlor We were strolling through Florence's narrow cobbled streets and saw this. Looked new and different. We entered and they welcomed us and explained their work and how they sell gelato by weight. It was 24 euro/kg. You get the cup/cone and you can choose your choice of flavor, and get the chance to operate the machine. Choose your toppings and they will weight it and tada... It was cool, what more cooler was their ambiance and scene. Swings coming out from the ceiling, Wallpaper, cute tables-all making it super cute and “don’t wanna leave’ place. I also ordered hot chocolate and believe me I was drinking p**S in the USA. This hot chocolate was really thick, felt I am drinking melted chocolate. So happy with their gelato-coffee and their cool ambiance. You have to come and try this.

The Willy Wonka of ice cream. A few minutes walk from the Duomo is this brilliant gelato factory. Proper freshly made gelato with a choice of flavours including those made with seasonal fruits, that you serve yourself. The decor inside is brightly coloured and whimsical. The host is so friendly and helpful, explaining the process. You choose and serve yourself your ice cream of choice in cups or cones. Then you can add your own toppings and sit and enjoy it inside. The price is based on weight. Children and big kids (like us) will love it! You can also stop for a coffee on the other side of the shop. They also do tins of traditional sweets in beautifully decorated tins that are ideal as gifts. Well worth a visit. We intend to go every day we are here!

One of the best ice cream I and my boyfriend ever had. The man who sold us the ice cream was absolutely lovely. We could hear that he loves what he does and that preparing ice cream is his passion. He explained us that the ice cream is prepared with higher temperatures. That is why less sugar is needed and the flavor of the ingredients are more intense. We tried almost all the flavors and everything was delicious and extremely creamy. A highlight is the Mandarino flavor. The mandarins are from Sicily and harvested later in the year. This is why they have a very intense and special taste. We would definitely go there again when we are in Florence.

The concept of the store is nice, and the blood orange slushy was pretty good. However, the system of determining the price based on how full you’ve filled your cup was quite strange, as they would make you pay for the bigger size if you filled it a millimeter over the line.. which happens quite easily with those machines. Additionally, when I looked at some of the lower reviews for this place I saw their passive aggressive responses. That comes across as very unprofessional and frankly, on the border of just really funny. Edit: look at that! I also got a passive aggressive response! 😂 I normally don’t leave reviews, but your attitude both in the shop and on google reviews made me make...
