Habana 500 — Restaurant in Florence

It's a new summer and Habana 500 is better than ever. They opened the season with Maykel Blanco live in concert! What a night and what a great way to start!!! The dance floor has been expanded and the menus have new options. The aperitivo is available three ways: cuban, cold cuts and cheeses or with pizza, and of course your choice of drink. Plus, every Tuesday you can order the special cuban dinner. The cocktail menu has also been enriched and features, among other new choices, the Canchanchara made with rum, lime juice and honey and served in a special clay cup. The DJs play Cuban, Puerto Rican and other salsa, bachata, and other latin music. You can take a table right by the dance floor or away from it for some quiet enjoyment, or catch a game on the big screen. There are plenty of tables, chairs and even sofas. In the afternoon you can sunbathe on the beach chairs or enjoy the light breeze under the trees There is no cover and no pressure! Enjoy the music, chat with your friends, attend any of the free dance classes and shows, eat, drink, dance the night away or just sit and relax....

EXREMELY RUDE AND DISHONEST STAFF AT DALLA CUSINA! This stall tried to charge me on utensils! We bought 3 burgers and 1 mexican chicken wing with salad. How will I eat my salad without a fork! The blonde lady at the counter charged me 0.50 EUR for it. When i called her out that we ordered salad, she returned the money. She also charged me 0.30 EUR EACH for ketchup and mayonnaise! Ended up paying 1.50 EUR for condiments for burgers I actually ordered. It would have been fine as I am aware that some EU countries charge for condiments but she gave the other local next to me these condiments for FREE. The amount is honestly nothing but it’s the service that’s upsetting. She was very moody and was talking down on me even if I was being respectful. Very disappointed with the of the ladies working there. They need to be trained properly. Lacking BASIC customer service skills! Especially the blonde haired one in photo. Went to have a relaxing time but...

Scrivo questa recensione con grande serietà per segnalare un episodio increscioso accaduto ieri sera presso il locale.

Ero seduta sul bordo di un tavolino, parlando tranquillamente con un’amica, in un momento in cui il locale era pieno e non c’erano sedie disponibili. Avevo già pagato la mia consumazione, quindi mi trovavo lì in totale buona fede, in una situazione di evidente affollamento.

All’improvviso, senza alcun preavviso o tono civile, uno dei bodyguard si è avvicinato e ha iniziato a intimarmi di alzarmi dal tavolo, alzando la voce in modo aggressivo. Ho provato a spiegare con calma che non c’erano sedie libere, che stavo semplicemente aspettando parlando con la mia amica, ma lui ha continuato a urlare e a inveire contro di me. Mi ha insultata, dicendomi che “avevo la testa dura” e facendo anche commenti gratuiti e fuori luogo sull’educazione ricevuta dai miei genitori.

Di fronte alla mia calma e al fatto che non mi stessi muovendo in modo provocatorio, ha persino preso una sedia da un altro tavolo già occupato per darmela, continuando però con il tono offensivo e intimidatorio. Il tutto è avvenuto sotto gli occhi di diversi testimoni.

Trovo che questo comportamento sia assolutamente inaccettabile. In un locale affollato dove si balla, si parla, ci si diverte, è assurdo che una cliente venga aggredita verbalmente per una questione così banale. Il bodyguard ha agito con arroganza, mancando totalmente di professionalità, buon senso ed equilibrio. Non credo che il problema della serata fossi io, seduta per qualche minuto sul bordo di un tavolo.

Mi auguro sinceramente che la direzione prenda atto della gravità dell’episodio e si attivi per formare meglio il personale addetto alla sicurezza. La tutela dell’ordine non può mai trasformarsi in abuso di potere o mancanza di rispetto...
