Actually I've had the greatest time, never got an actual pizza that was spicy enough to get called "ATOMICA" (Atomic/nuclear for English/American), I've been greatly treated by the staff, Dario the owner is a great master of pizza making, has been treating the ingredients majestically through the process of the composition, also there are the waiters that treat you like you've always been there, has a really warm atmosphere, welcoming and a bit strangely house like, might had been the small spaces that get you to get in touch (not physically), with the other clients, like you're all just sitting at one table, exchanging one to the others advices about Florence and Tuscany. By any chance I hope that you could just try out the other pizza that my friend just eaten out, not even having the occasion to take a picture of it that was the "BOSCAIOLA"; the irresistible scent of truffle was calling me out but, while I was taking the picture of my pizza the other was already finished. P.s. they also make deliveries to the Piazzale Michelangelo, look out their site, as I was sitting there has been a delivery and in no time they made it and sent it. Just be sure to get it on the delivery point, I've seen it afterwards or I'd rather eaten the pizza with the magic atmosphere of the sunset looking at the landscape of Florence. Cheers and thank you Pizzacchiere for the...

We travelled 6500 kms to get an authentic taste of Italian Pizza. We were lucky enough to find this eatery very close to Piazza Michelangelo.

First of all, the hostess gave us a warm welcome and helped us get comfortable. She gave us time to go through the menu and guided us to the best pizza as per our requirement. She was always very courteous and made sure we were enjoying. This spirit was also shown by the host. This couple runs this small eatery and their pizzas are one of the best we had till date.

We had Margarita and Atomic pizzas. One pizza is enough for a person for lunch or dinner unless you have been fasting for a while.

Margarita is a good choice if you are not unsure about which pizza to order. Atomic is slightly spicy with less cheese, which was what we desired, this pizza is a highlight of the eatery.

Pizzas are absolutely fresh, the base is crispy and warm. The toppings are provided in the right amount and you don’t feel like your mouth is stuffed with cheese as is what happens while trying ordinary pizzas. They have some special pizzas and drinks of your choice as well.

The hostess gives some complimentary sweets while presenting the check, which is a nice touch.

These guys are passionate about their work. My strong recommendation of you are around Piazza Michelangelo in Florence.

My best wishes to the lady and her...

I don't recommend this place anymore.

In 2015 I had a very good experience at this place. I even recommended it to some friends. However, I had a completely different (and extremely disappointing) experience a few weeks ago.

For some strange reason, they dont allow clients to use their toilet anymore!! They claim they are a "street food" place. However, offering reservations online, prices similar to other normal restaurants and NOT offering toilet is NOT alright and it is misleading. Somehow, I felt that the pizza also decreased in quality in comparison to 2015. Back then I was impressed but this time the quality was just average.

My suggestion is: make it clear in your website that in fact you are a take away l and dont offer toilets for customers - it would be more honest.

Actually after my visit I checked for their latest reviews and it is quite appalling how they react (aggressively) against criticism. As a customer this is very disturbing and quite frankly I think that businesses should be more open and listen to constructive criticism in order to provide a better service - which is clearly not the case for this "street food".

Based on my last experience, I wont be going back to this restaurant nor i will be recommending it to other people anymore.

There is better service and hlumber staff in Florence for...

We came here because of the great ratings but I honestly don't really understand the enthusiasm. This was definitely the most disappointing pizza I've had in Italy for the past few weeks, and my partner is Italian. It wasn't that bad but or 11-15 euros I really hoped for more flavor. The waitress was very friendly but there was no toilet available. You could get a beer to go for 6 euros in order to use the bathroom nextdoor, which made the overall dinner more expensive than we thought it was worth. I guess many people (overwhelmingly, tourists) like the pizzas here but it was definitely one of my least favorite meals here. EDIT: the staff seemed nice but after receiving a very sour response on my 3 stars (and seeing some of their others) I realize perhaps more people might not be so enthousiastic about this place but don't think it's worth reviewing this place with the risk of being bullied in response. Very unprofessional and immature. I wonder what they do to people who give less than 3 stars.

We went there because I've seen the ratings on google and Tripadvisor. And yes, it was worth the walk. It's a small cosy restaurant, located between the Arno and the Piazzale Michelangelo. Every single Pizza is baked in front of your eyes, all the ingredients are fresh as they can be. Prices range from 8-10€, which is absolutely fine. Please be aware that this is not a typical, classic restaurant. L'Pizzacchiere is totally environmentally friendly - so you'll find wooden cutlery on the table and the food is being served on cardboard plates. They recycle everything they can, which I think is absolutely awesome! As long as you're not looking for a fancy place, this is absolutely a must-try! The Pizzas are excellent, rich, tasty, fresh, oozing and you just want more and more. The staff is very friendly and sympathetic, you cannot not love them. During our 3 day trip, we went there twice because we loved it so much - and so should you!
