We were greeted by the owner, a very warm and friendly fellow. He treated us like many other high-end places haven't, and that means a lot.

The food they serve is homemade, made with effort and, by the look of the kitchen and the dishes they pull out, made with love.

The coffee is great, we had a pistachio cheesecake with a home made chantilly cream that was superb.

Lovely place to have a spritz outdoors in the newly redone Piazza Ciompi! Apertivo food is excellent, not boring, stale fare leftover from lunch. You get panini, different spreads for thin and crisp pieces of schiacciata, olives, etc. The drink prices are the same or cheaper than other places in the center, and like I said, you don’t just get chips or nuts! I stayed in an apartment near this bar while in Florence and I can say nothing but positive things about this place. Popular with locals and an atmosphere that really makes you feel like a regular. The bartenders and staff always made the effort to personally greet me when I came, and they went out of their way to make me feel like a part of the community. 10/10 recommend for a calmer place place to get a drink at the end...
