Nice corner location run by mother and son. The mother is a sweetheart and tried to help me order best she could, it unfortunately was still a bit confusing but I rolled with the punches. First I tried two different types of their roman style offerings, the marinara and the pistachio, mortadella, & burrata. These were absolutely to die for. I would have ordered 1 or 2 more different styles but I had no idea how big they were going to be. The pistachio, mortadella, & burrata was legendary it was almost like a little sandwich but their sourdough recipe is seriously special. It takes everything to the next level, for example something as simple as the marinara. Then I tried one of their neopolitan pies, the golosa. It has eggplant, bacon, and rosemary and was absolutely delicious. Small complaint is that the bacon was tough to enjoy because of how it was presented. Flour comes from right close by in the region, mixed whole grain. Super flavorful, awesome toppings, various local cheeses, meats, anchovies. Simple local wine list too. Got a Sangiovese grown 8km away!
