I wonder why I had never tried this indian restaurant before since we are very close distance-wise! I absolutely can’t say I’m a fan of the decoration and environment but the food was really good. they have different options but obviously it’s more pleasant if you are like me into spicy food. I generally like Indian cuisine because it’s so close to my taste. I ordered Murg Vindaloo which was basically chicken breast with Vindaloo sauce (stew) and and some aromatic vegetables. very spicy, thick and yummy. basmati rice, or Safeed Chawal as they name it, is a must! it wasn’t as aromatic and high quality as I expected but ok. Garlic naan was good too. tender and yummy. whenever I go to an Indian restaurant I have to have Lassi which is in theory a drink made of a special yogurt and either pistachio or mango or simply spicy or sweet with sugar. I didn’t really like this one because they mixed mango juice (yes the supermarket ones) with a normal yogurt. it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the mango lassi I tasted before. another favorite thing in an Indian restaurant for me is Gulab Jamun which is fried skimmed milk with rose water and cardamom and it’s a delight. the price for the food in a city like Florence was very good and I was a happy customer. will...

Came in curious. Left a full-blown fan. New Delhi Rosticceria Indiana didn’t just serve food — it served an experience. The kind that makes you stare into the distance afterward and whisper, “What just happened?”

Each dish came out looking like it had just been kissed by the culinary gods of Delhi. The rice was fluffier than my Airbnb pillow. The curry? Deep, rich, and more comforting than a group hug on a rainy day.
And the spice? Let’s just say it didn’t play around — but it also didn’t attack. It flirted. It teased. It made my taste buds feel things they weren’t ready for.
Oh, and the staff? The kind of warm, welcoming people that make you want to call your mom and tell her you’re being looked after.
This isn’t just a meal — it’s a mini vacation for your mouth. Highly recommend. Just… maybe cancel any plans that require focus afterward. You’ll still be thinking...
Read moreSmall shop with lots of delicious dishes full of flavor! The palak paneer was unique and paired perfectly with the chilly garlic naan. The chicken pakora or chicken tandoori is a must. They are both juicy, tender, and tasty. The dishes are priced fairly and the service makes you feel well taken care of. I arrived close to closing and they let me know I would be able to order but needed to wait a few minutes as they were helping other customers. It was kind of them to share the wait time and once they were ready they gave me a thumbs up and came right over to take my order. The boss was fun to chat with and made sure everyone had a good time. If you need a change of pace and want cozy meal with friendly staff give this...
