Service was beyond bad. No wonder they’ve included Euro 4 in each bill, because this way they don’t have to put any effort in actually taking care of the customers. They didn’t give me a table outside, although there was a free one and nobody was waiting to get seated. Inside the waiter didn’t come for ages, and I had to actually go to the main desk to get her attention. During the dinner she never came back to see if I need something (I needed an extra beer!), and at the end I had to go to the main desk to pay… The pizza was OK, but the bad service ruined the whole experience.
P.S. I saw the owner published a comment. It’s good to know what the service fee doesn’t go to the staff, who was so unprofessional. While I appreciate the offer to email them, nothing would change the experience. What the manager needs to do, is to be at the restaurant and watch for such terrible service. In New York such a behavior would result in apologies, free dinner, etc., none of this ever...
Read moreMost disappointing meal of our trip so far. I keep rereading the reviews looking for what I missed because this place is just not good. Not good food. Not good service-we were literally kicked out as we trying to finish our bottle of wine as "they needed the table." No line out the door or wait that I could see. Um I'm sorry 45 minutes from start to finish was too long for your restaurant. Despite multiple reviews that the pizza was best in Florence-this was not it. Not even close. Not the worst I'm sure, but the only thing going for it was a decent crust. Otherwise, flavorless toppings and waaaay too much cheese (and anyone who knows me will wonder if I feel ok, because I love cheese). The lasagna was meh, the potatoes and chicken cutlet undersalted and bland. The bruschetta were dry and void of any flavor. So many other incredible places and I'll be a little mad for a bit that we wasted a dinner here on our trip-so here's an honest review in the hopes someone...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant with a large group, and what we experienced was absolutely unacceptable. After we were finally seated, we were treated in the most disgusting manner imaginable by the so-called "manager." This guy, short, stocky, with slicked-back short hair, embodies everything that’s loathsome about toxic masculinity.
He not only treated us with utter disrespect but also tried to intimidate us with his pathetic macho attitude. It's obvious he's trying to overcompensate for his "small assets" with his revolting arrogance. The way he handled the situation with guests was nothing short of shameful and disgusting.
If this wannabe manager isn’t fired soon, this restaurant is bound to have many more dissatisfied customers. It’s a shame that a place with potential for a great experience is ruined by such vile behavior.
I will never set foot in this place again and strongly advise others to avoid it as long as people like him are...
