Be careful if you are a tourist !

We went to buy a drink in the bar and they asked us to pay 12€!! for 1 gin tonic. I don’t even mention that there was nothing inside- like cucumbers/peppers (for this price heh!) When I asked why gin tonic is more expensive than other cocktails (other cocktails were around 8€), the woman bartender with short hair said in a rude way “Because it’s like that!” I was super shocked. But I was even more shocked when I knew that our local friends bought there the same gin tonic for 5 or 6€ … will never come back there again.

An Update after the response of the owner: Unfortunately the gin added to our cocktail was far from being a premium gin. Moreover, when I asked why the gin tonic is more expensive than other cocktails, the bartender could’ve said “because we used the premium gin” instead of saying “because it’s like that”. But no, she couldn’t have said it because she put a basic gin and we saw it . We checked the menu yeah and we saw that the cocktails were...

Conosco il locale da tempo e abbiamo pensato di tornarci dopo il brindisi di mezzanotte.

Era circa l'una, entriamo e ci viene detto dal ragazzo che per la serata era richiesta la somma di 20 Euro a persona per ingresso e bevuta. Accettiamo, paghiamo e ci viene dato lo scontrino. Il locale era pieno imballato, quindi pian piano riusciamo a raggiungere il bancone dalla parte sinistra.

Mentre attendevamo di essere serviti, una ragazza mora coi capelli lunghi mi urla da dietro "Spostati dall'ingresso al bancone, grazie!" Ci spostiamo e lasciamo che facesse avanti e indietro per raccogliere i bicchieri e metterli nel cestello della lavastoviglie. Intanto continuava ad entrare gente e stavamo sempre più pigiati e, nella confusione generale, ci ritroviamo involontariamente davanti all'accesso al banco. Questa volta tre pacche ben assestate sulla schiena dalla solita ragazza e la frase "Ti levi di qui? Te l'ho già detto una volta!" Noi basiti, anche perché era impossibile lasciare spazio libero dalla quantità di persone che c'erano e che continuavano a fare entrare.

Faccio presente l'accaduto all'altra ragazza che faceva da bere, la quale forse non capisce cosa è successo, ma comprende che qualcosa non è andato bene con la sua collega, dunque ci versa della vodka in dei bicchierini da shot, aggiungendo: "Questi ve li offre lei. Non io, ma lei."

Ci spostiamo nella saletta e finiamo di bere i nostri cocktail che, ahimè, non erano neanche un granché.

Peccato per questi episodi perché rovinano la reputazione pluriennale di un locale molto...
