Saw this place through a google search as wanted somewhere close to eat. It has opened a month before we came on the 1 of may. When we arrived and said we didn’t have a reservation it wasn’t a problem, they sat us easily and we really nice. It looks fancy but we were still welcomed in shorts and a tshirt so that was great. The ceiling is painted and looks great.
The manager (I assume) was awesome. Asked where we were from then proceeded to tell us about some wine we got which was a great touch.
Now the food! We got the Tuscan menu for 2 which was $75 euro and included a meat board, their florentine tbone 1kg and some water.
MY GOD the food was AMAZING. The meat board was a bit odd as not used to how raw some of them felt but they still tasted great.
Now the main thing, the T-bone! It was nothing short of AMAZING. We got it medium as medium rare there is just done as rare would be. It was brought out on a hot plate cut into pieces. Now we’re from New Zealand and know good steak, this gave us a run for our money almost. It was tender and even the parts that got cut a bit thin which then got cooked a tad more on the plate were still super juicy.
We also got desert just to splurge which was awesome aswell.
If you see this place PLEASE go in as you won’t be disappointed. The total for a bottle of wine, the $75 menu, and desert each was $115 but worth every penny. If we get to come back I would not hesitate...

My wife and I went here on a Friday night in June and had no problem getting a table. The service was impeccable: friendly, prompt, polite. The atmosphere was also good.
The food was really where the restaurant stood out. We spent 70 euros for two people which included a glass of Chianti, a spritz, one antipasto, two primi and two contorni. The drinks were average for Italy - no issues there. But the food was where things took off. The burrata was INCREDIBLE - you MUST order it. It was served with bits of fried dough (‘coccoli’) and some honey, fig jam, and walnuts for toppings. We were not expecting that presentation for an antipasto, and it blew our minds!
For primi, I ordered the parpardelle al cinghiale (wild boar) which was excellent. My wife had the seafood risotto which she said was very good. The portion sizes were generous but not large. We also ordered one contorno of mushrooms and one of grilled vegetables. In particular, we noticed that the mushrooms were noticeably very fresh which was good. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked.
Overall this was a very high end experience for a very reasonable price. I would love to visit again and cannot...

After trying several restaurants here in florence and getting disappointed on their fiorentine steak, i had very low expectations for this restaurant. But boy, was I wrong!!
Me and my husband ordered the sautéed mussels as an appetizer which were accompanied with bread and they were the most delicious mussels we have ever had in italy. (Huge portion & so flavourful!)
As per our main course we ordered the fiorentina steak medium rare cooked and it was mouth watering! It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We paired it with some roasted potatoes which were delicious as well.
The server recommended the cheesecake for dessert but we ended up ordering that and the tiramisu and both of them were outstanding.
Overall, this place is very very good and the desserts aren’t heavy like most of the others i have tried in italy.
So good, that we even pushed our train ride back several hours just so we could come by for lunch again a second time.
I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for great food and great service!!! You won’t be...
