Arrived at around 9.45pm when most restaurants in the area are that their busiest. Sat on the only table outside the restaurant. I advised the waiter of my intended pasta dish but stated I had a nut allergy and he advised not to have that and he reccomended horse ribs. I told the waiter I would prefer a pasta dish and he said the only suitable one for nut allergy sufferers was a simple orichiette with brocoli stems and so despite it not being what I was looking for, I reluctantly agreed. The food turned up less than 2 minutes later and so was clearly not cooked freshly, it was nice but nothing special. Whilst I appreciate the waiter advising me on food suitable for my allergy, I couldn't help think that he had guided me towards something that had already been cooked. Read moreAuthentic home style cooking! We had such a wonderful meal at Casa Noscia. Its the first time I've had authentic Puglia home style cuisine in a restaurant! Some of the dishes tasted just like my mother in laws. So delicious. The polpette and peperoni where just like home. The fava was perfect. I definitely recommend getting the mixed appetiser so you can try everything. They even have horse on the menu - you seriously have to try it. So good. Their home made sausages are excellent. If you love food and are interested in trying what real southern Italian's eat at home, you must go to Casa Noscia! Oh, and be sure to finish the meal with their local...
Read moreI am pretty disappointed with the quality of the pasta. I came here just to eat the orecchiette and I ordered the "Maritozzi with Swordfish, aubergines and mint". The pasta was overcooked and the sauce did not have any flavour at all. The Maritozzi with Meatballs were also not that good, with the tomato sauce being too salty and not properly stewed. We arrived at the restaurant at ca. at 8.15pm and the pasta has been served around 9.45pm. The waiters were friendly but totally disorganised and we could not enjouy our evening at all, as we were always chasimg for somethimg - the wine, the antipasti, the pasta... I would...
