Bar Da Franco — Restaurant in Garda

Here's what happened: I asked the waiter for a decaf(repeating twice "decaf") and half a litre of water. He got me the order, I asked if it was decaf, he said "I don't know, I'll check"... He didn't come back for several minutes, I also realised the water was just a quarter litre, not half, so I went inside with the water and asked (waiter was talking to the barman) "did you check if it's decaf?" He said it was NOT, and the barman said to me angrily "I'll cancel your order, I can't have complaints every minute"!!!!!????? So I left the water right there and walked out, not before saying "but if YOU got my order wrong, you punish me for asking for the right one?" I'm sure he's not the owner, don't know if the owner cares about the service AND THE MANNERS of his employees. This being off season, you'd think they'd muster up halfway decent manners so as not to lose the few clients they have at this time of the year.... I shall never set foot...

Called in on 5th May; a Sunday night 8.30pm, only a couple of people in there.

Asked waiter if they were doing meals and he said yes.

Sat down and had a drink first, but when we called waiter over to order food he said in a minute. He then went outside, took some photo's of the sunset, had a cigarette and then returned.

Asked again if we could order and he took 5 more minutes before he come over.

He took the order for our meals, went away and returned a few minutes later to say that the kitchen was closed, but we could have a panini .

Asked why he'd told us that food was still available, said he thought they were still serving?

Left having wasted 40 minutes by which time all other places had closed at 9pm for meals.

Next three nights we went to Cafe Roma next door, great place, great food, waiters who...

Considerando che è con vista lago ha dei prezzi molto onesti, ci siamo fermati per un pranzo veloce e con le bibite ci hanno portato delle chips da sgranocchiare.

Servizio a primo impatto cordiale, seppur lunghino (mezz'ora ma forse comprensibile vista la stagione) anche se abbiamo ordinato due piatti "rapidi" che comunque non sono arrivati caldi. Abbiamo preso una piadina prosciutto cotto e mozzarella (niente di speciale ma buona) e una bruschetta con pomodoro e philadelphia. Al momento dell'ordine della bruschetta è stato specificato che si voleva il formaggio dopo cottura, il cameriere ha segnato nell'ordine ma la bruschetta è arrivata con il formaggio messo sia alla base della bruschetta, in cottuta, che sopra e il cameriere ha detto che l'aveva fatto così c'era più condimento. È stato poi fatto presente che non rispettava l'ordine ed è stato ammesso che l'errore veniva dalla cucina, tuttavia non vi sono nemmeno state delle scuse. La bruschetta era molto "bagnata", quindi la parte centrale poco piacevole da mangiare.

La pizza del tavolo di fianco era invitante, consiglio di provare il posto se siete in zona ma ordinare altro e sperare che le richieste...
