This little Cafe is a gem. The vibes are immaculate: it is situated in an alley of sorts on a busy pedestrian street in the heart of Genoa and steps away from many museums. There are twinkling lights, climbing vines on the walls surrounding the outdoor seating, and the promise of an espresso or glass of wine. I have several unfortunate food allergies- the staff spoke enough English to understand where my Italian lacked and made me a dish of freshly rolled tortellini with spinach that met my needs perfectly. It was some of the best pasta I have had. The owner was there on this day and he chatted personably with many of the guests (a mix of locals and tourists), myself included. While I sat there sipping my wine a busker was playing the cello beautifully on the street. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality, the personal touches, and the attention to detail. If I could come every afternoon I absolutely would. I will cherish the experience I had coming to this beautiful place.

We went here twice, first time for coffee and the second time for lunch. The staff is really friendly and genuine, casually having chit chats with customers. The coffee and food is both of high quality. The lunch options are varied and so are the sweets you can take with your coffee. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also great as its located in a small garden as you can see on the picture.

They are not nice at all. We went twice, and left both times. They say they could not serve us any drinks that were not water, beer or wine if the barman was not there. Which is ridiculous, because I was asking for a vermouth with tonic water, which you just have to pour in the glass, and I was telling them exactly how to do it. The young lady is a bit nicer, but the old woman is miserable.

It was a very satisfactory experience for us, we were tired and hungry at 18.00 but it was almost impossible to find a restaurant with above average dishes. We were walking in Via Garibaldi when we bumped into this cute narrow entrance and immediately attracted by it’s charm. Gnocchi was nice and I surely recommend the Rossese wine alongside it. Rosese is a red wine with rose-ish looks and very smooth taste to accompany your dinner. We’ve also had coffe and small desserts, they were not extraordinary but was quite good. Also waiters and the owner are super nice and welcoming. They do speak English well enough. It’s definitely a nice memory with it’s otantic furnishings...

We went in with the intention of getting two coffees and use their restroom. We were told there is no counter service and were sat on a table next to the counter. We asked to use their restroom and were told "ah the restroom, well we have customers having their lunch right now... Well okay, if you want to use it...". We both went to the restroom and our coffee was not served yet. We ended up paying 5€ for 2 espressos and were treated like tramps. We live in Genoa in the area, but we are never going to come back. Thank you for letting us using your very...
