Don Cola — Restaurant in Genoa

This place is an utter offense. The whole place smells greasy, it will even get into your clothes too. The service were unattentive and obviously not even knowing what the food they are offering is supposed to look or taste like. My partner's Pasta alla norma had litterally two tiny bits of eggplant in it. Needless to say that the dish's main ingredient is melanzane, as Italians say. But miss know-it-all was trying to tell us, that the rest of the eggplants had been blended (!) into the sauce... The sauce consisted mostly of oil which goes quite well with the omnipresent grease smell in the place. For compensation the staff gave us two Euros discount on the pasta dish. You should be ashamed of your service, your quality ot food, you lack of empathy and your total failure of trying to...

This coffee shop in Genoa has an incredible location with picturesque outdoor seating that makes it a perfect spot to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city. The tables outside are beautifully arranged, offering amazing views and good vibes, which definitely elevate the experience. The food is good, enjoyable enough for a casual stop.

Unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. The wait time was incredibly long, even though the place wasn’t overly busy. As someone who isn’t a tourist, I was surprised to hear the server openly complaining about tourists complaining for the waiting time, which created an unwelcoming vibe. It’s a shame because the location has so much potential. If you’re patient and don’t mind lackluster service, the ambiance alone might still make it...
