Pizza was good, service mediocre. Children are not very welcome.
Edit: I am quite surprised by your response. If you have children, you know, that they won't sit still while the adults finish their meals. Letting them paint is a way to keep them occupied, happy and quiet. As you write, it is obvious that they do not paint on the furniture. Telling your customers that in advance (i.e., that the children must not paint on the tables while they are clearly drawinf on paper and before they attempt to draw on the tables) in a quite aggressive way, does not create a very welcoming atmosphere. Moreover, this was the only restaurant on our journey, where we had to ask for a high chair (just one for the whole restaurant) and where the kid's meals did not arrive before the adult's meals. Our children were always at our tables and under our supervision. They did not disturb the other guests. I hope this explanation helps you understand why we didn't feel welcome...

The chef seemed to be in a rush to leave, possibly our bad timing. Pizza bases weren’t cooked and sloppy like pasta. Had to eat it as a pasta as all toppings fell off immediately.
Still very tasty, just not a pizza like experience that we expected to have. Will try again on our next trip as other tables didn’t have the same issue as us. :)
They charge a Coperto fee per person which isn’t advertised. The only restaurant to do this over our 3 week vacation. This is something that the owner may need to work on as it creates an unnecessary bad end to a meal compared to other restaurants.
All in all, management and staff and location is great. Just the poor pizza quality that we received on the day was a let down.
See you again on...

One of our beer was just 3/4 full, our bottle of water was forgotten and only brought after several requests. The Frutti di Mare pizza lived up to its name. The sea creatures were literally swimming in sauce and oil. The shrimps were still in their shells and would have needed a lot of peeling before they could be eaten. Not visible at all thanks to the sauce so there is a risk of choking. Besides our bad experience we learned that two guests on other tables were still waiting for their pizza while their companions were already done with theirs. Really a pity, we had...
