Unfortunatelly we did not feel very welcome for several reasons: We came with a baby (who was happy, smiley and calm) for lunch and were sat in another room in the back while all other guests were placed in the front of the restaurant. (We had a reservation and the front of the restaurant was not full!) We asked if we could also sit with the other guests. After our qestion we got a table in the front. We do not know if it was because of the baby or just a misunderstanding. As the waiter did not smile one single time while talking to us we did our best to be the nicest guests. It did not help. We are still asking ourselves if we did something wrong.

I would really come back for the food but our visit somehow leaves us with a strange...

Neanche una stella meriterebbe, per quanto mi riguarda. Di passaggio a Gubbio per il primo dell'anno, due adulti con al seguito una cagnolina buonissima. Volevamo mangiare una pizza, decidiamo di chiedere un tavolo e ci dicono di aspettare un'ora. Bene. Facciamo presente che abbiamo il cane, ci dicono che non ci sono problemi. Dopo un'ora ci ripresentiamo, ci accoglie la stessa signora della prenotazione, allarmata ci dice di tenere stretto il cane (da notare bene che avevamo il guinzaglio da un metro...più stretta di così...e poi manco fosse cerbero...?!?!); ci fanno entrare con la raccomandazione di tenere il cane sotto il tavolo (?!?!). Va bene, passiamo su anche a questo perché conoscendo la nostra Melita, sta buona e sappiamo che sa comportarsi. Ci fanno accomodare ad un tavolo, arriva un altro signore tutto allarmato e ci fa spostare in un angolo "così non diamo fastidio". Già lì saremmo dovuti andare via. Ma va bene... Restiamo. Ordiniamo due pizze al volo, due bibite e andiamo via. Pizza immangiabile e pomodoro acido, tanto che ci è venuto mal di pancia alla notte. Mai più. Un consiglio...SE DITE DI ACCETTARE CANI NON METTETE A DISAGIO LE PERSONE E GLI ANIMALI. DITE SEMPLICEMENTE CHE NON LI ACCETTATE. PUNTO. In foto, il cerbero in questione che secondo loro doveva essere messo in un angolo sotto il tavolo, perché fastidioso e pericoloso. Povera stella nostra...non lo permetteremo mai più!...

Chose to eat here as it was recommended by many sites, but was very disappointing. We had 2 large starters, dishes were abundant but quality was average. Cold meats were tough, most of the grilled veggies were very greasy and overall poor quality. Pizza bread was about the best thing of the meal. Service very slow. We are only in Gubbio for one night but won't be back to eat here if we're ever in...
