Bar Remo — Restaurant in La Spezia

DO NOT EAT HERE! So disappointed! We walked passed here earlier and saw a lot of people and decided to return for dinner thinking it must be a nice spot for some food. It isn't.

I ordered lasgne, it was half cooked in a microwave. They had to further hear it in the microwave. My sister's meal was wrong and we had to wait for the correct one. It was mediocre.

We expressed our displeasure throughout the meal. When it came time to pay, we discovered a charge of €3 for cutlery. We said no way. We expressed how unhappy we were throughout the meal and we're shocked they didn't try to rectify the situation. The attitude was unreal. Would not recommend and definitely won't...

We stopped by for a small bite and drink and the place was not very busy. We got our food pretty quickly but it was definitely not fresh looking or anything to call home about. I would rate the food about like an average fast food chain in the United States.

As far as the service, the waiter did not want to be there and wasn’t very responsive unless you flagged him down. After eating my sandwich/panini, I asked for another drink, but after 15 minutes, we opted to just get our check and leave.

Visited twice for breakfast and once for dinner. Our apartment has breakfast included, which means that we got coupons for free breakfast in this restaurant/bar/cafe that included filled croissant, croissant sandwich, some hot beverage (coffee, tea) and some cold drink (eg orange juice).
