This was very disappointing experience. We are very positive people and I usually write positive reviews but this place... First of all, our friend ordered fish of the day, 2 fish for 2 people. We waited over an hour to get them (it was supposed to be half an hour). Finally, he brought them without anything, no potatoes, no vegetables, just fish. He didn't suggest anything to order to them so we thought the dish comes with something. Then, pasta with seafood. It was a very small portion and didn't taste good. The glass of wine; it was so little wine that he poured that I thought it was a joke. And then comes the bill. He didn't say anything about how much the fish was going to cost (as we have experienced in other places) and it was one of the most expensive we had. Also, the price of pasta on the online menu was 20 euros, on the bill it cost 25. He added water which we didn't order at all. Actually, it all looked as a rip-off. Read moreI read all the reviews of a place I have visited before posting mine to see what has stuck in people's minds... but I can't for the life of me see where these negatives come from... this place has delivered excellent, top-notch plates with the most attentive service I think I've ever had. The staff are extremely friendly and gave us some amazing recommendations that will stick in mu mind for quite some time. My partner and I both agreed that this place has given us the most memorable foodie experience out of anywhere in Italy (we have visited Italy at least once a year for the past 10 years and currently live in the north - so that's a big call to make). The spaghetti with anchovies, olives and capers was on a different level. It was really one of best pasta I tasted on this trip to Puglia. The orata with zucchini and mozzarella was light and delicious as well. Fun Fact: The chefs are Italian trained but one is from Sri Lanka and another from Senegal.
