Kyoto sushi — Restaurant in Lecce

Read the dates of the negative reviews. I have just been there because I read their menu and it sounded good. I also read reviews in the last month or so. I went for dinner - expensive option I guess - but more variety available. I still don't understand the extra cover charge - just include it in the menu prices. Service was impeccable, friendly, prompt and helpful. Food was fresh, tasty, well presented and prepared with care to attention. I enjoyed the variety of choice with some little extras thrown in for interest such as the sashimi tacos!

Ignore the negative reviews from months ago ...

Other customers were having a good time too and the expressions on their faces were wonderful to witness as their meticulously prepared food was delivered to their table.

€30 including a drink and cover charge. I had 11 dishes ... That's just over €2,30 a dish. Value+

When I was traveled alone in the center of Lecce on New Year’s Eve, I walked to a restaurant to eat sushi. Although I didn’t make a reservation, the proprietress kindly let me eat there. I feel that the whole restaurant’s staffs are really warm and friendly and so nice to me,they made me feel like back to my home 😆. Later, because the reserved guest came, I hurriedly gave up my seat, and the proprietress and the sushi staff even gave me sushi to take away，cus New Year’s Eve is the special day for everyone,and I feel so warm of what I met in this...

Unfortunately, non-authentic Japanese food of mediocre quality. The tempura was served with sweet chilli sauce instead of traditional tempura sauce. While the batter was also not the authentic kind, it was ok (hence two stars instead of one). The miso soup - served after the main dish for some reason - was instant miso soup and did not contain tofu as stated in the menu. NOT stated in the menu however was the €2 "coperto" (service fee) that was added to the bill. If you are looking for a change to Italian cuisine like me, I'd advise to...
