Frigerio Restaurant & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Lecco

I have to admit that I'm disappointed. At the first sight everything looks nice: a lot of people sitting and eating, quite good prices and good location (a restaurant situated in the main part of the city). We ordered pizza and two types of pasta. The meals were served one by one with long brakes. Pizza was served first and it was quite tasty. Then we got pasta alla carbinara and this one was tasteless, only cream with two peaces of becon, without any pepper or any other spices. After 15 minutes the last person got the last pasta. We paid 3 euros for coperto per each person. There was no information about it in the menu. When we compare this amount to other restaurants it was much. Especially that, we didn't get any free starter, olive to pizza, pepper and salt etc. It was standard in other restaurants which we visited during our stay in Lecco and in Italy. Maybe it was an accident or we choose the wrong time but I give only 2 stars because the pizza was quite tasty the rest...

Total scam---worst restaurant in Lecco. Worst restaurant in Italy. Worst restaurant ever. The waiter was condescending and lazy. Even though the restaurant was empty, the waiter didn't bring our food till long after it was prepared. So we had cold pasta and lasagna. The bread was stale. And the worst part: the waiter GAVE HIMSELF 20% tip, and gave us the part of the receipt with the total, so we didn't know until AFTER we signed the check. Check my reviews, I NEVER give one star. Please, please, please AVOID this place. Worst restaurant experience ever. By the way, this was in November 2017, and I am STILL furious. overpriced. avarage dishes. definitely a tourist trap. worked for what we needed (vegetarian options, open on Tuesday, close to where we were staying), but I wouldn’t go back if the circumstances were different. the waiter was nice enough, but he recited exactly the same formulas to everybody else that didn’t speak italian. we got the food very quickly and had a table with a nice view of the piazza. marinara pizza I had was ok, but the sauce was very runny. no fresh herbs. think we over-paid because of different prices to the menu, or they charged a very expensive service charge (my boyfriend went in to pay, so i’m not 100% sure why). it was €47 for 1 pizza, 1 risotto, beer and...
