Ciclo Divino — Restaurant in Lucca

Almost like an East London cafe in Lucca! Suggested by locals (if not probably will try something looks more “Authentic Italian”) best place to chill with wine and indeed it is.

Friendly staff that most importantly, knows and loves wine and can show and suggest some good choices they have. I indeed had a great chat with the owner about wine as a topic and is really quite inspiring. (Yes she speaks good English)

Food wise I keep thinking of their Tuna-Fennel bite. It’s really the best demonstration- simple food just great ingredients and that works!

What’s more? There’s some board games to keep the children busy, so adults can enjoy a relaxing chat.

What a fun place to hang out and have a light snack with a tasty drink! The bartender was very kind and helpful, and treated us well even though our Italian is not that good. We started out with an aperol spritz (€5) & a beer (IPA, €6) and a few bruschette at €1 each. Those were very fresh and flavorful, so we ordered a few more as well as a great glass of house white wine—which was also very affordable (€2). Good service and normal prices which is rare for this part of Lucca. Great find. Went on a Thursday and opened at 3pm, so different to time on Google, but don't know if we were just lucky.
