Origami Take Away — Restaurant in Lucca

We paid around 60eur for miso soup, ramen, gyoza, yakitori, rice, tempura veggies and a boat of sushi,drinks too. So i think this was a reasonable price compared to other places around Italy that I've tried and had a take on Japanese food. The food itself is ok, definitely not the best I've tried except gyoza(they were amazing), but not bad. As a restaurant owner myself, I’m certainly a little more choosy than most when it comes to restaurants.

This was some of the best sushi I have eaten and an extremely large meal for two (~50 pieces) plus drinks came to €46. Situated so close to other towns and resorts where €50 gets you a salad and a water, I was pretty stunned by both the quality and the price.

The setting is lovely, overlooking the entrance to Luca and the service was quick and attentive.

Leaving Luca tomorrow but will be returning to Origami...

Definitely not as good as expected, concerning the amount of positive reviews. Gives the impression of a tourist trap, living of its location. Sushi was not very good and service was not impressive, slow and not very customer-friendly. Allover, less than average.
