We came to Franklin'33 after our dinner to drink a few cocktails. The first and most obvious thing to notice about the place is the awesome staff. Even though it was busy they explained and recommend drinks while listening to our (and especially mine) very vague taste preferences. The only downsides about the place is that it is not the cheapest (around 8 Euros per drink) and that while the visiting public was not the most fun. The last thing might also be caused by the fact that while we were in town there was a concert that was oriented more on an older public. All in all you should really go to Franklin'33, even if it's just to get great advice...

I can understand but being dead pretty ridiculous. We were however allowed to sit after pointing this out. The menu has a list of American north,south etc. All the suggestions are random and not actual cocktails for the most part. We asked for a standard American cocktail that wasnât on the menu (having all the ingredients listed) and the bartender refused. Annoyed we ordered old fashions and they were COMPLETELY watered down.    Read moreThe bar is a bit retreated from the busy shopping street. The atmosphere is dark, chilled, but friendly. We ordered negroni and the "Regina Elizabeta II" (Queen Elizabeth the second). Both are well prepared. I love the colours on the top of my drink. Just looking at it already gives one a delighted mood. The young owners are very friendly and share their ideas and visions with the bar and the city. They serve breakfast daily but closed on Monday - glad that we happened to bump into here on that Sunday night. Definitely we will...
