We went to grab some coffee and a cold meats platter. The waiter who I assume was the owner sat us down with some menus in English. After a few minutes he came to get our order and after asking for the cold meats platter and an espresso I asked if they have latte macchiato, which was answered with quite an angry rude response "this is a pub, not a coffee shop, we only have espresso and cappuccino". I then asked if they had orange juice and he sort of rolled his eyes disappointingly and reiterated his point and then just left our table. scam place be aware. Rhey try to scam tourists. I was there with my LOCAL partner and his father. We had 3 salads and alcohol free drinks. My partner ordered in Italian - again locals. The y brought out aperol which we didn't order. When I went inside to pay the bill, the cashier refused to give me the itemized bill before paying, I asked as I wanted to check if the Aperol was taken off. Well they started yelling and when I paid only after I mentioned I need the bill I got it and the Aperol was on. When I demanded my cash back for the Aperol I got yelled at. Personale di un’indelicatezza e scortesia come pochi. Siamo stati ripresi per aver chiuso una porta sul retro del locale, spalancata e attaccata al nostro tavolo, in quanto tirava una contraria fortissima perchè la serata era particolarmente ventosa, sicuramente avremo potuto chiedere e in questo abbiamo sbagliato, ma senza pensarci era attaccata a noi e l’abbiamo socchiusa, sono intervenuti chiedendo se l’avessimo chiusa noi ed esortando “male! Qui moriamo tutti dentro!” È stata subito riaperta senza neanche chiedere nessuna cortesia, magari di cambiarci tavolo per la troppa aria o anche semplicemente di trovare un compromesso e chiuderne per metà, oppure magari anche di accendere l’aria condizionata se proprio si soffre il caldo e c’è bisogno di aria fresca (i menù sul nostro tavolo sono volati per il vento, era davvero eccessiva, fuori c’erano comunque 19 gradi, non 35, ma va bene). Per concludere in bellezza siamo stati invitati ad un certo punto ad uscire con un gesto, dello stesso cameriere verso di noi, del “time out”, esordendo che se no non entrava più nessuno se noi ci soffermavamo ancora al tavolo (premetto che stavamo lì da una mezz’oretta e avevamo appena finito di bere, in 6, e che al tavolo accanto al nostro c’era una coppia a cui invece non è stato fatto alcun invito ad uscire), e all’uscita annessi ringraziamenti “ciao ragazzi, grazie” ma grazie di cosa?
