Gahvè coffee & drink — Restaurant in Matera

I very rarely post a negative review but unfortunately I feel it is appropriate based on the fact that the positive reviews were what lead me to this cafe in the first place. Apart from the great location and the fact that the Spritz we got were delicious we felt deceived when our waiter, who would rarely see to our table ( any time we would call for him we'd wait 5-10 minutes while we even say him smoking with friends), never mentioned about the food for the aperitivo and when we asked about it expecting it to be part of the drink ( they were 5 euro Spritz after all) he ended up charging us for every single food product we got ( from the olives - twice and chips). I actually come from Italy though we spoke English as we were with Canadian friends and wonder whether that made a difference. Had high expectations due to the good reviews, but we were terribly disappointed. The food was not really tasty. The toast was not good at all, and Bruschetta could have been better as well. Piatto was ok. We also ordered orange juice, but it was fermented. We sent the juice back because we couldn't drink it. We got another one for free and the second one was ok... surprisingly. All in all a bad experience......
