Methera — Restaurant in Matera

We are a group of 11 people from Canada for a basketball tournament. Some from our group ordered steak and were told there was only one type of cut. I don't know why, but when the rest of us were ready to order, the server told us there was no steak... only pizza. We asked her 4 times. She lied. We were the only people there at 8pm opening. What kind of steakhouse only has 4 steaks at the opening of their restaurant? As a business owner, I would fire that employee. Money knows no colour. This is a pizza gourmet shop. All pizza here are special and very rich. The are also steak house, but I went for pizza. The yeast grow for 120hours so dough is perfect and very digestible. Wonderful selection of ingredients. Very elaborated pizza work. Price is fair. I had the pizza special of the months with eggplant prepared as “parmigiana” as pizza topping. Best gourmet pizza I hate recently. In the downtown area of Matera, in Via Roma you can find this incredible pizzeria.
