We walked in early on a Friday night with no reservation but they took us in at the bar high top table which we appreciated. They were busy with locals and a lot of to-go orders so we know we made the right choice. I asked for the server's favorite menu item which I often do and the pizza he suggested was incredible. The flour in Apuglia is different than everywhere else in Italy, it is wheaty and tastes the way you think bread should taste. Obviously an ancient grain with minimal processing and of course no GMO. The pizza was a buratta pizza with ricotta rosettes. I ate the whole thing. I kept saying to myself "that is enough" but I couldn't stop. The house wine was a perfect match also. My wife had a mixed salad with chicken and smoked buratta. Also to perfection. The best smoked mozzarella so far on this trip. Between the cocktail and two glasses of wine the bill was only €40.

Wonderful find for both celiac and non-celiac visitors to Matera. We arrived right after they opened on a Thursday evening and the place was already filling up (by the time we left, it was packed). Almost the entire menu is able to be ordered gluten-free, and lactose-free cheese is also available. Both of our pizzas were delivered quickly and were delicious - - I ordered the gluten-free Girotondo, brimming with ricotta, pesto, tomatoes and burrata. My boyfriend's marinara-based pizza was also packed with local colors and flavors. I was bummed that I was too stuffed to order dessert, because the options for celiacs looked amazing! The owners and servers were all very kind, and prices were quite reasonable.

We went to this place as we wanted a dedicated pizza place as opposed to a restaurant that also sell pizzas and I can confirm thay they had super tasty pizzas for a good value. We had 4 stagioni and Diavola. I was able to add extra cheese on mine for 0,50 EUR. We also had croquettes for starter, which were equally tasty. The place was packed with local couples and families but the staff was always quick and friendly, which showed how well trained they were. As a dessert we had Tiramisù, which was also tasty.

We ordered the Victor and Girotondo and both were not great. The Victor had nduja on it but as you can see from the pic it hardly had any, especially for a “specialty” pizza that’s more expensive. The Girotondo got super soggy once the cold wet cheeses mixed with the oily pesto/oily melted mozzarella. Service was bad, they forgot our wine and basically just ignored us. I also see other people mentioning different options of crust but we were not given any option by the servers? Maybe we just got unlucky

Serata indimenticabile! Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo di lunedì sera per le 21:00. Arrivati puntuali, dopo una decina di minuti ci sediamo. Sfogliamo il menù e dopo 5 min eravamo pronti. Passa almeno una decina di volte la stessa cameriera, senza mai chiedere se fossimo pronti o se volessimo anche della semplice acqua. Dopo 30 min di richieste continue ad altri camerieri che ci rispondevano “mando qualcuno”, “arrivo subito”, “due minuti”, notiamo che un tavolo arrivato dopo di noi, aveva già ordinato. In quel momento e dopo ben 40 min di attesa eravamo pronti non più per ordinare ma per andarcene. Mentre decidiamo ormai che era passato troppo tempo e le prese in giro erano diventate troppe, la cameriera si degna di prendere l’ ordinazione. Abbiamo fatto notare anche il fatto che aveva preso ordinazioni ad altri tavoli che si erano seduti dopo di noi, la risposta è stata una risatina! Peccato il cibo è buono, ma non basta solo quello per acquisire nuovi clienti. Intanto la sala si è svuotata e noi continuiamo ad essere ignorati per richiedere un dolce. L’attesa viene compresa in posti grandi come questo, ma essere totalmente ignorati no! Mi auguro che questa recensione possa essere motivo di crescita perché è un peccato davvero. Ps il dolce alla fine non l’abbiamo preso perché nessuno l’ha chiesto e ci siamo diretti in cassa per pagare…pazienza

Pizzeria situata a pochi passi dal centro. Siamo arrivati e i posti a sedere all’interno erano pieni e la ragazza che si occupa delle prenotazioni dei tavoli ci ha dato due soluzioni: o sedersi all’istante fuori oppure aspettare un quarto d’ora circa per accomodarsi dentro. Noi abbiamo optato per sederci fuori, ma dopo una ventina di minuti ci raggiunge la ragazza dicendoci che un tavolo dentro si era liberato e ci potevamo spostare, gesto molto gradito. Tutto lo staff è gentile, professionale e indossano la mascherina e chiedono per accomodarsi dentro di mostrare il green pass. Il menù è molto vario, ci è piaciuto molto che si può scegliere se mangiare una pizza croccante o morbida (cioè con il bordo altro), noi abbiamo scelto con il bordo alto ed erano veramente buone, gustose e l’impasto non era pesante e non si è messo sullo stomaco, infatti l’abbiamo mangiata tutta; un’altra cosa che ci è piaciuta è che sta la pizza del mese. Un altro piccolo dettaglio va allo scontrino, che forse nessuno ci fa caso, ma secondo me è una cosa molto utile,soprattutto se si è in comitiva, che sotto il totale c’è scritto anche quanto viene a testa Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, ci torneremo!
