Sorry but to all you saying "best gelato ever"...🤦🏼‍♂️ Yikes. After visiting Menaggio and seeing the reviews of this place I decided I had to try it. Best ever? Ok! I need to try it! Wow what a mistake....

This isn't gelato...no matter how much you want it to be. This is "tourist-trap gelato" better known as SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM. Not even good soft serve. This is a slap in the face to true gelato of all of Italy. I honestly feel bad for those who think this is actually good gelato because they are truly missing out on the good stuff. Decor and 'allure' felt special and elegant....but it was just a waste of time and money. If you come here expecting 'gelato' you'll be sadly disappointed (as I was). If you just want a cold cheap sugary treat, sure, go for it....

Came in to purchase gelato with my family of 8. We had asked to try passion fruit, then pistachio before buying. This lady proceeds to say quote "you can only try one flavor." Thus, I proceeded to ask is this per family or per person (because I otherwise would have abided by it). The lady proceeds to say with a huge attitude " ugh, per person." At this point I just bought the flavors that were already in the kids hands and the one she was scooping and just paid instead of getting the rest of the family gelato.
