"La trattoria" Famiglia Morello — Restaurant in Messina

I could not be happier that we chose to go away from the port to eat and went to this amazing small family-owned restaurant. My girlfriend and I do not speak Italian. And the owner didn’t speak English but the mother did and she helped us with choosing the right dishes.

As a note they focus on local dishes. So there are a lot of seafood dishes. However, my girlfriend, who does not eat seafood, was able to get assistance in finding an amazing dish.

Stopped in for lunch while the cruise ship was in port. They made accommodations for 9 people. My family was blown away by the delicious food. We had muscles, shrimp, swordfish, tuna, seafood pasta, chicken, and wine. All were delicious. The after-dinner sweets were very tasty.
