AKKADEMIA — Restaurant in Milan

At first it looks like a traditional pub, like you find in northern Europe, which is why we chose it. But as soon as you enter you notice it's not at all a traditional pub: -You are greeted by a waitress who "seats" you. -There is loud music. -You can't actually sit at the bar. (see photo) -The beer is very expensive.

It's still better than most "pubs" in Milan, I guess. They just don't have a pub culture here. I think I counted at least 8 staff. A pub like this in Holland is run by one person on a normal night. Granted, those dutch pubs don't have a food menu...

The worst pub experience we’ve had.. terrible, unfriendly service & atmosphere. We stepped in expecting a relaxed fun vibe as it looks like a pub. Were greeted twice with an officious ‘siete in due?’ Got to the empty bar & were told we had to sit down to order. One of us ordered a beer, the other one wasn’t ready to order. We were told we both had to order. Was all way too unfriendly, complicated & odd.. so we left. Can’t understand the positive...

Siamo andati sabato sera 12/10/13 io e la mia fidanzata. Abbiamo ordinato un Grill Teller ed un Fish and Chips. Il Grill Teller era una composizione di wurstel bavaresi e patatite fritte. + o - era accettabile..anche se il sapore dopo un pò sembrava lo stesso! Quindi avrei dato a quel piatto 5 come voto.... Ma quando abbiamo visto il Fish and Chips!! MADONNA MA CHE ROBA E'!!!!!!!! Al posto del merluzzo classico fritto con patatine è arrivato un fritto misto di gamberetti e calamari!!!!!! Oltretutto grammo e salatissimo!!!!!!!! immangiabile!!!!!!!!! Il pesce era pure nn buono..quasi avariato!!!! Ragazzi!!! ma stiamo scherzando!!!!!!!!!! Bastardamente loro che cosa hanno fatto ..... hanno salato il tutto pesantemente per coprire tutti i sapori sia di patatine che di quel simil-pesce!!!!!!! E poi cosa è successo:........abbiamo chiesto di cambiarlo con qualsiasi altra cosa (la mia ragazza poverina nn riusciva..veramente..).......e loro cosa hanno risposto??????........Non è politica dell'azienda cambiare i piatti...... -' -' -' -' -' Ma poveri noi!!!!!!! in una parola: PESSIMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
