Celebrated our Anniversary dinner here with friends, a party of 4.
They have fresh seafood in display, there is an option that you can choose your fish and they'll cook it for you. Or just order from the dishes on the menu. Since we were the only group in restaurant (not sure if it was early or it was a weekday so not busy), we had the place to ourselves and the waiter was attentive to our table. We started off with some bubbly that they offered when we came in, a bread basket, with also this fried fritter type dish for our table.
I ordered an appetizer of shrimp uni burrata -WOW I'm a fan, the shrimp is cooked what I consider rare so of you're not use to it you'll think it's raw, I wished there was more uni though, however the appetizer was perfect. If you love cheese this is also great start.
Entrees - Risotto with Ossobuccoo, was tender and the risotto was creamy, a perfect balance of flavor. Seafood soup - was wow we did not expect so much seafood it was suppose to be a serving for 1 but two people can totally have this for an entree and just order apps. My husband had an issue getting to the broth even though he was making a dent on the shellfish, our waiter was nice enough to change the plate to a wider one so my husband could actually reach it. Our friends ordered seafood rissotto and also seafood with linguine, no complaints from them.
Dessert - flaming creme brulee (he added alcohol and lit up) wasn't sure if that's how they described it on the menu or he just did it for entertainment. We also got a Tiramisu, no complaints.
In the end a warm lemon water bowl was provided for my husband to rinse his hands, and biscotti for the table to end our meal. From beginning to end we enjoyed the service provided. If we ever return back to Milan we definitely make our way back...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the stunning interior design. It's a chic and modern space, with a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere. The lighting is perfectly dimmed, creating a cozy and intimate setting that is ideal for a special occasion or a relaxed evening out. The decor is thoughtfully curated, with a blend of contemporary and classic elements that work together harmoniously. It’s clear that a lot of attention to detail went into creating such a beautiful and comfortable dining environment. The food was equally impressive. I started with a delicious appetizer of what appeared to be perfectly cooked asparagus with a savory sauce. For my main course, I opted for a tender and juicy steak, which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a smooth purée and a medley of fresh vegetables. Each dish was not only bursting with flavor but also beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's culinary artistry. The dessert, a decadent chocolate lava cake with a molten center, served with a scoop of creamy ice cream and fresh fruit, was the perfect ending to an exquisite meal. While the food and ambiance were exceptional, the service was a bit of a mixed bag. The staff was efficient and professional, but our waitress seemed a little reserved. A genuine smile would have made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt a little like she was going through the motions rather than genuinely engaging with us. However, this was a minor point in an otherwise fantastic dining experience. I would still highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable meal in a beautiful setting. The quality of the food and the stunning decor make it a...
Read moreAndry near Teatro dal Verme is perfect blend of elegance and good cousine contrasted and garnished with the familylike warmth of the staff. Omnipresent waitress Violeta and and her bearded colleague treat you kindly like the members of the family. Although primarily seafood restaurant, steak tartare is brutaly good, cakes and coffee delicious...but the wine...the best wine ever! Morellino di scansano (riserva) makes you wanna cry and yell out of happiness simultaneously. Best marks!...
