Rita & Antonio is a delightful dining experience nestled in a tree-lined street right in the heart of Milan on Via Giacomo Puccini. This charming restaurant effortlessly combines traditional Italian and Lombardian cuisine with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The service at Rita & Antonio is exceptionally fast, allowing you to relax and enjoy your meal without long waits. The waitstaff is attentive, friendly, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is flawless.

One of the standout dishes at the restaurant is the paper-thin buttery orecchio di elefante Milanese cutlet, widely regarded as one of the best examples in the city. The cutlet is expertly prepared, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making it a must-try.

The homemade food at Rita & Antonio is reminiscent of a comforting family meal, and the three varieties of freshly baked bread—normal, with peperoncino, and with olives—are a delicious touch. The gnocchi alla gorgonzola is a highlight, with its well-balanced and flavorful sauce perfectly complementing the soft gnocchi.

In summary, Rita & Antonio offers a memorable dining experience with its traditional Lombardian fare, impeccable service, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant is a must-visit for a true...

Price: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Food: 9/10

After having many disappointments of restaurants in Milan, we finally found a nice local italian restaurant. This was our last restaurant before we left Italy and we hoped and prayed that this restaurant was a jackpot. And our prayers were heard. This is in our opinion, the best restaurant we had so far in Milan. The atmosphere, food, service AND price were good. The price was REALLY affordable, compared to the ridiculous prices we had to pay in QUALITATIVE BAD RESTAURANTS near places like Duomo. We didn't had to wait long for our food (I had risotto. My bf had a pizza. As dessert we had a homemade tiramisu). It was really quick. The people working there were really nice too. Having a chitchat with us etc. We are satisfied with this restaurant. Want to give props to the 2 young men who were super nice! Definetly recommend this restaurant!

Greetings from Holland...

Went here after watching Mark Wiens video. We were a little skeptical because of the ratings, but most reviews only seemed to have a problem with “rushed service” and not the food itself.

This ended up being my favourite meal in Milan! Went right at opening and the place wasn’t too busy and we were sat right away. Our server was very friendly and spoke English well. He was super attentive (ex: he noticed we ran out of ketchup and brought us a packet without us asking)!

Food: we got the tagliatelle with pomodoro, the elephant ear, a mixed salad, a side of chips and the house wine. All were excellent and the perfect size. There were several vegetarian options as the menu was pretty big for Milan.

Im not sure why the reviews aren’t higher but would highly recommend for a more traditional...

The meal started on a high note with the bread, oil, and balsamic, which were exceptional. The Osso Buco, Cotoletta Milanese, and Risotto Saffron were nicely prepared and enjoyable, paired well with good wine. The service was mixed—while some staff were respectful and attentive, others fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, the experience ended on a sour note when the cashier (possibly the owner) charged €4 per person for a small shot of limoncello, which is typically complimentary in similar restaurants in Milan. This charge felt unreasonable and detracted from an otherwise pleasant lunch. There are undoubtedly better options in Milan where such practices are more in line with the dining culture.
