Barragán — Restaurant in Milan

I’ve been to this place a few times now and it never disappoints. My Mexican friend recommended it to me, saying the food was truly authentic, and she was absolutely right.

Everything about this spot is great, from the warm and welcoming staff to the delicious food and the cozy atmosphere. If you’re in the Navigli area and in the mood for fresh, flavorful Mexican food and a good margarita, I highly recommend checking it out.

Eight years ago, when I lived here, I couldn’t have imagined finding a restaurant like Barragán in Milan, serving authentic Mexican cuisine. Fast forward to today, and this place has exceeded all expectations. The food is simply fantastic, with flavors that instantly transported me back to Mexico. As someone from Los Angeles it's hard to find authentic Mexican cusine in Milan, but this place takes the cake! Chef Anna(straight outta Mexico) was very personable and made me feel at home. Their tacos are great with good variety and nicely sized for one person, and you can never go wrong the burrito! The Barragan cocktail is a must with salt on the rim, and for dessert warm churros with chocolate sauce. This is the place to be anytime of the week on the Navigli especially on Thursday with live music, lovely scenes.
