I've been here a couple years ago and from the previous positive experience I had to come back again with some friends again.

The dishes were so nice and we'll cooked. In primis the Xiaolong Bao with the broth inside were so delicious, maybe were not 100% Chinese taste that you expect because of the mild seasoning of the stuffing, but it was so pleasant for a cold evening dine. The elasticity and texture of the dough was on point. In second place my Rice with Teriyaki Chicken was also nicely balanced, totally not salty but sapid and well cooked. The chicken on the rice was a little dry for me, but not for my GF that tasted it as well it was good, so it's a matter of personal opinion, as I prefer the thight meat instead of breast for a rice topping since the rice itself is already dry and fat-free. Overall rice was boiled at the right point and not sticky at all, egg was tasty, broccoli could have been flavored, Kombu was great. My GF took the Ramen, I think it might be a bit much richer for some aspects in particular for the noodles itself, the broth was so good one again and the fat was perfectly in emulsion. A good compromise for a wide range of customers I guess.

Least but not last the service of the waiters was so polite and professional, appropriate for the restaurant's look, they menaged a little problem with my dish so well and offered an adequate solution with ease. Recommended for a quiet meal with no compromise. Price a pintch over...

Disordine mentale.

Prenoto un tavolo per due persone, chiedo per le 21, mi dicono che va bene. Arriviamo alle 20:45: il tavolo non è ancora pronto, ma non c'è problema, siamo noi in anticipo d'altronde; ci portano due calici di spumante nell'attesa, gentili. Alle 21:30 però siamo ancora seduti, con i due flute vuoti davanti a noi, ad aspettare un segno di vita, un "scusate", un qualcos'altro nell'attesa (consiglio: se non sei sicuro sui tempi delle prenotazioni precedenti, dimmi che alle 21 sei ancora pieno, e alle 21:30 magari è meglio, e io vengo per quell'ora). Tant'è, può anche capitare (e passi che possa pure capitare di non scusarsi), ci sediamo, menù, acqua e vino e via. Ordiniamo un calice a testa (prestate attenzione a questo dettaglio perchè tornerà alla fine della storia), un antipasto misto in due (dim sum assortiti davvero ottimi, forse il miglior piatto della serata), con il cameriere che ci consiglia l'ordine in cui assaggiarli, pur dimenticandosi di portarci la soia, nella foga del servizio veramente eccessiva forse, tant'è che ha sbattuto con fragore, spero involontariamente, il cestello del ghiaccio del tavolo accanto al nostro quando lo ha portato, prima di scheggiare diretto da un'altra parte, e un'altra ancora, in un'ansia dinamica ininterrotta. La soia la chiediamo due volte a due camerieri diversi, il primo scompare, e il secondo, il "nostro", finalmente ce la procura. Sui primi arrivano i problemi più sensibili però. Giunge il mio ramen (anche questo se non ottimo direi molto buono), ma del riso del mio commensale nemmeno l'ombra, a un certo punto inizio a mangiare, quando ormai anche il mio si era inevitabilmente intepidito nella vana speranza di poter gustarlo in compagnia, e chiediamo informazioni sull'apparente sequestro del riso, che non arriva più. Il nostro cameriere ci dice che andrà a controllare. Ed è quello che ha fatto: è andato, ma senza più tornare. Dopo un quarto d'ora chiediamo a un'altra cameriera (ahimè l'altro si dimenticherà di noi), ci dice che controllerà pure lei. Insomma dopo una ventina di minuti abbondanti, quando ormai la mia scodella era bella fredda e vuota, giunge l'atteso riso, insieme però al secondo! Un unico secondo che, al momento dell'ordinazione, avevamo specificato voler condividere in due, e quindi avrebbe dovuto essere la portata successiva (questo secondo poi, il manzo con germogli e porri, assolutamente nella media direi, conosco almeno altri due posti a Milano dove ne mangi uno identico a quasi la metà del prezzo). Faccio presente la cosa alla "nostra" cameriera, le spiego che questo secondo lo avevamo ordinato insieme, e che il riso non era mai arrivato, era in ritardo, io avevo già finito il mio primo. Qui decolliamo ragazzi. Potreste immaginarvi una sorta di "sono spiacente", "non mi hanno informata del ritardo purtroppo", "mi hanno fatto capire che si trattasse di due piatti per la stessa portata", "mi scuso di nuovo per il ritardo", con annesso, ovviamente, ritiro del secondo che sarebbe dovuto essere rifatto dopo che il mio commensale avesse finito, da solo, il suo primo. E invece no, dalla bocca le esce un: "Ah". E via correndo dall'altra parte della sala. Qui si chiude il capitolo della seconda cameriera, e ci attende l'ultimo, breve saluto con il ragazzo dalla giacchetta nera. Insomma, il mio commensale mangia il suo riso, il secondo praticamente lo lascia mangiare a me: è stanco di mangiare da solo mentre lo guardo. Chiediamo il conto. Ce lo porta il ragazzo con la giacchetta. Il prezzo dei calici di vino è sbagliato. Lo faccio notare. Mi dice che controllerà. Dopo dieci minuti chiamo qualcun altro (lui sta facendo altro). Stessa pantomima. Dopo un quarto d'ora dalla richiesta del conto alla fine questo benedetto foglietto arriva, ovviamente corretto, senza certo nessuna scusa o tantomeno uno sconto, un dolce offerto, una qualsiasi carineria professionale della quale abbiamo ormai perso la speranza. I ordered a poke using an offer "Pay 1 get 2" via uber eats. It was a medium size, even though when it arrived it was much smaller if compared to similar restaurants. The taste though: it was awful. The rice was absolutely tasteless and glued together, mixing the ingredients (which were all put at the top, nothing new here) was literally impossible because of the rice. The nori seaweed had a terrible poisoned-water taste which ruined all the other ingredients in the bowl. The two salsas i ordered were either absent or too few and the omelette was too cooked. We had: +golden fried rice( for my kid): he loves it. ~wonton soup: the wontons itself very delicious, but the broth is a bit disappointed, i think they use miso broth for that. + spicy& sour seafood soup: my friend loves it - peking duck: big disappointed, duck skin is not crisy at all and tastes too ordinary for restaurant’s standard which should be their special( it tastes like the frozen ready made from asian market) + very friendly service

I tried their lunch menu with Tonkotsu ramen. It looked like very real Japanese and yummy but the soup doesn't have much flavours as it should and the Chashu toppings (stewed pork) are not cooked in a correct way. But we should not expect native Japanese cuisine from Chinese restaurant. Actually their dumplings were great. The place has a modern and fancy atmosphere. I would visit here again but order something Chinese, not Ramen :P

We had: +golden fried rice( for my kid): he loves it. ~wonton soup: the wontons itself very delicious, but the broth is a bit disappointed, i think they use miso broth for that. + spicy& sour seafood soup: my friend loves it - peking duck: big disappointed, duck skin is not crisy at all and tastes too ordinary for restaurant’s standard which should be their special( it tastes like the frozen ready made from asian market) + very friendly service

I tried their lunch menu with Tonkotsu ramen. It looked like very real Japanese and yummy but the soup doesn't have much flavours as it should and the Chashu toppings (stewed pork) are not cooked in a correct way. But we should not expect native Japanese cuisine from Chinese restaurant. Actually their dumplings were great. The place has a modern and fancy atmosphere. I would visit here again but order something Chinese, not Ramen :P
